Are you a US citizen? And did you file the I-485? If both of the answers to those questions are yes, it shouldn't be a problem. However, you should consider a consultation with an immigration attorney to be 100% sure.

Hi Nestor, if your son was born in Mexico before you became a US citizen, and his mother is not a citizen, you would most likely need to petition for him to enter the USA as a permanent resident. You income may be used as household income since you are authorized to work. I suggest you file an amended financial affidavit - I-864.

It sounds like your mother can file for your green card. But you should contact an immigration attorney immediately to discuss this matter. Do you have DACA?

Hello, if both the parents are US citizens they can bring the baby in as long as they provide proof. If your sister files, it will take about 11 years for a visa number to become available for you to apply for your green card. For the H-1B petition by your friend, it will be impossible to meet the "ability to pay" requirement.

It actually is different for different countries, if you are from mexico you might be able to apply 7 months in advance for philippines its 2 years so it is different. Talk to an attorney in private to find out more. All the best.
