What could happen to me ? Is it possible to get these lowered or dropped ?

You could be sentenced to the Juvenile Detention Center. There is always a possibility of charges being reduced but you will want your parents to hire a criminal defense attorney to assist you with these matters. The sooner your parents hire an attorney, the better.

I have court in the morning and on judici it says petition for increase
amount of bond, motion to be heard

It means just what it says. The prosecutor filed a motion to increase or modify your bond, so you should be prepared to address it when you are in court. You should notify your attorney right away. If you have not hired an attorney yet, you should do so right away.
I have the advertised post on Facebook printed out and everything. I already sent the title in. He's in Kentucky, I'm in Illinois.

I am not sure what your question is.
If you're asking, does the 17 year old need a criminal defense lawyer for any investigation regarding his conduct? Yes. This is a State and a federal offense.

This is a great question to discuss with their attorney. That attorney will have all of the needed information in order to answer this question.

Quite possibly. The FBI is sometimes asked to assist local law enforcement even if, in the end, jurisdiction belongs in State court.

Generally speaking, a state prosecutor can not prosecute a federal case. State prosecutors prosecute state crimes. However, there are many federal laws that have state counter parts which can also be prosecuted at the state level.

If so, make certain you do go back to Court on your due date in December and ask the Judge for more time to pay. Hopefully,... View More

As long as the lawyer is licensed to practice law in North Carolina, they can handle cases in North Carolina if they practice law in North Carolina.

They didn't say what the charge(s) were or where in South Dakota my friend was going. NOTE: I need to know the extradition laws for South Dakota.

You should contact a lawyer in South Dakota for any questions you may have regarding South Dakota laws. Maybe the lawyer can find what criminal charges you may be facing in that state.

The consequences are that you are committing fraud by lying on an application that you live with him. You would be best off just letting your assistance lapse if you would not qualify for it based on his income. Otherwise, you should see a lawyer for your particular facts.

Can he be arrested and taken away during labor/birth? Yes. Is it likely to happen right at that time? No, although it will likely happen at some point. In the eyes of the law he committed statutory rape and is a sex offender if convicted.
