You say he was videotaping you without your knowledge--so the Police probably thought "how did he know he was being videotaped?"

Guy probably doing it to cover himself as you had filed a complaint.

Q: Wife in jail in Louisville, KY. Wanton Endangerment 1, Escape 3, Resisting Arrest and DUI for being under influence of

drugs. All first offences. Been arraigned. First time charges. Never been in court before. We have a child. Will she get out on 15th? What do we think judge will do? What CAN judge do? I'm hoping for court-ordered for her to seek out treatment, which she wants to do anyway. Thanks.

Those are all serious charges, requiring the assistance of an attorney. There is no way to predict what a judge will do. Every case is different.

You should be able to sell it to yourself. One concern is that this would not be an "arm's length" transaction. You should document that your friend is satisfied that he is getting fair market value for the car. Pay him a fair price as purchaser.

Dogs are personal property in the eyes of the law, so this would be a theft, but the theft you would be committing would actually occur in Michigan, so this is a question that should appear in Michigan criminal law questions.

Most states laws would hold a host liable under those circumstances. The family of the dead person should contact a member of the Ky. Trial Lawyers Assn--they give free consults.

Q: My friend posted a children's book exchange on Facebook. It's a pyramid scheme type deal. A friend says it's illegal.

you have permission to send the book,

and use fedex or ups to send the book(not usps)

is it legal?

Your mom needs to get a private criminal defense attorney locally to represent her. She does not have to prove one single fact. The state must prove her guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. From what you have written there is plenty of reasonable doubt here.
