I have insurance on my car and i was wondering if this will increase the cost of my insurance. Does the speeding ticket only affect her or me?

Her. The ticket is in her name. Won’t affect your insurance.
The violation date says it was yesterday. All of the personal information is wrong such as name, vehicle info, ID number, etc. The only things right are the location and general time of day.

Yes. It is a six point violation and will increase your insurance astronomically. Hire a lawyer to handle it for you.
I have a question. My state I reside in (Michigan) is not part of the driver's license compact. Which means it does not share info with regarding my driver record, license etc. to other states. FYI, the lot is never full and no signs about will be towed etc. Everything I owned is in there. I am homeless and literally left with my purse, now the only possession I have. Nothing will be released until fees paid. What can I do?

You’ll need to find someone to lend you the money to get the car. You can deal with the other repercussions after you retrieve the car.
The ticket was issued more than a year or two ago to an out of state driver. Can it still be paid? Will there be additional fines beyond the $25 since it was so long ago?

A warrant usually issues. It is possibly that it can still be paid. I’d find a lawyer nearby to look into it do you know you have all the bases convered.

Ticket is for >26 MPH over. I have a court date set. Have valid license and insurance and no driving record at all. Never even been pulled over before. What can I expect from my court appearance?
The officers had pulled out of a road/driveway about 1/4 mile or so ahead of me. One pulled off to the left in a gravel spot and the other in a small parking lot by a stop sign. When I approached the intersection the first officer on the left turned on his lights. So I pulled over out of the way.... View More

Call the district court and find out what day you can appear.
I have insurance but didn’t find the card at the time. What can I expect? What could be the worst penalty?
answered on Aug 29, 2020
Worst penalty could be suspension of your license for 6 months. Likely result is traffic school and no loss of points or license.
what will i get when going to court
answered on Aug 26, 2020
Probably a diversion. Be sure and take your license with you and they will probably dismiss it.
This was in Bullitt County, the card was expired, but I can prove I was insured at the time.
I’m just confused on how and why they can still charge me and etc if I no longer have that vehicle or any vehicle in my name. Is there anything I could do to make it get dismissed or maybe just a fine? Like if I were to get a letter stating that I no longer have the vehicle could it do anything?

Bc you didn’t have it at the time of operation. Getting rid of it after the fact is not a defense.
Could I still get fined/ jail time If I could get a letter or something proving I no longer have the car
Parents can't afford higher insurance, and I work at the airport so I have to drive

You are eligible to go to traffic school again on the new 23 over.
