Q: I had no car insurance and got a ticket, but my car is getting repoed before my court date, how do I approach this?

I really didn't have car insurance and I was truthful about that. I'm confused on whether or not I need to get it as well as fix my expired tags. I'm not sure if I need to fix all my citations since I'm losing my car anyway.

Yes. You need to get insurance before the court date even if losing your car to avoid a big fine in the no insurance. You can alway cancel it after court if the car is repoed.

You need to hire a lawyer to investigate this. If you filed an answer with the court, there should not be a civil judgment against you. You may be able to go back in and have that judgment set aside depending on what actually happened. Bankruptcy could be another option for you.

Q: I got a citation for going 20 mph over limit and it says it’s not prepayable is there a way I can change that

I rather just pay the citation off instead of attending the court date because I don’t believe I will be able to make it due to certain circumstances so is there anyway I could just pay the citation off or attend State Traffic School instead of attending court.
