was flagged by Nissan and was to be sold at auction with "no engine warranty". The small dealer I bought it from never disclosed any issues or any flags to the engine warranty. Now I have a car that needs a new motor. Car was sold in New Jersey.

The car wasnt even in my posession. For 24 hours and had a good inspection sticker until next year. I used my savings to buy the car and need a vehicle for my job.

Private seller---they probably sold it to you as-is. Unfortunately there is not much you can do? If you paid with a check you can try to stop payment. Try to repair the car as best you can. I am sorry this happened to you.
I purchased a car yesterday from a dealer who disclosed the car made a noise when in park , i immediately took it to the mechanic who told me it would be 3000 or more to fix. i did some digging and found out this is a common issue with the car that even has a class action lawsuit against the maker.... He tells you it makes a noise. You buy it nonetheless. Sounds like it's on you. My only suggestion is file a complaint with whoever licenses car dealers--not sure if that'd be DOT or Secretary of State.

As long as they pay for damages and it's not a warranty issue then the action you take--I'm assuming they refunded your money--is not to go there again.

Not a lawyer question. If you are on the do not call list tell them. Probably scam artists. Unfortunately local cops ususally say call the FBI, FBI says call local cops. I suggest you start with the do not call list.
