During an MRI today I noticed my wedding ring was still on as I was sliding into machine. I waved my hands to stop it so I could remove it. The MRI tech said I’d be fine and didn’t allow me to take it off. The MRI came out blurred because he said I was moving. I was not moving at all. Turns out... View More

A Nevada attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for two weeks. It could depend what the damages were. I do not believe a several week delay in knee surgery would typically be a source of damages - that's an individual opinion - other attorneys could see things differently.... View More
She did sue the doctor. But why can't you sue again because she's had 26 surgeries since then. This is ridiculous. I know the Nevada laws but there should be a way.

In Nevada, as in many jurisdictions, there are legal principles, such as the "one-bite at the apple" rule or the "single recovery" rule, that generally limit individuals from suing multiple times for the same injury. Once a lawsuit is filed and resolved, it typically includes... View More

You may have a good medical malpractice case. An attorney would need to consult with medical experts to see that what occurred happened because of actions below the standard of care.
My doctor said he was 4 hours late for my surgery because of complications of his patient before me and he also mentioned his patient has the same procedure done

It is important you see other doctors right away to see what health care you need. This will also tell you more of what happened and what harm was done to you.
Died 23 days later after kidneys failed. Do I have a case?

Medical malpractice means that a doctor violated the standard of care. A bad outcome is not enough. Another doctor would be needed to evaluate what the doctors did.
Dr. Navales, Absolute Dental, incorrectly implanted posts to hold a clip-on denture. Broken posts and extreme pain have been the result. I am currently spending another $10,000 for dental work in another office to be able to have a clip-on denture without constant post breakage and pain. I was... View More

You could possibly have one. An attorney couldn't offer a definitive answer based on these brief facts alone. But what you describe is the legal theory of "failure to diagnose." As a starting point, you could contact a Nevada medical malpractice attorney to discuss the matter in... View More

I'm sorry for your ordeal. There wasn't a question here, but if you are wondering about your rights, the best option might be to contact a Nevada attorney to discuss the matter in further detail. So if the settlement is $50,00 and the fees are $10,000 I believe they must deduct the $10,000 and then take their 40% of $40,000,even if my son signed an agreement in 2015- in his ignorance - that says otherwise
answered on Jul 2, 2018
Unless it is a medical malpractice, the fee agreement determines when the percentage is calculated, before or after costs. If it does not say, then it is whatever benefits the client the most.
