My dad was on his tractor and pulled out into the street at the same time that our neighbor came down the road in his truck. The neighbor moved to avoid the tractor and side swiped my parent's mailbox. Crash report states no damage. My parents paid the neighbors $500 deductible. Now a year... Read more »

Doesn't sound like it. Criminal charges could result if alcohol or drugs were involved, or you failed to stop and report, or you somehow intentionally or recklessly did this. None of that appears to be the case here.
My vehicle was unsafe to drive but, I was able to move it off the road. I called for a ride and when they showed up I left. The other party stated that they were okay and we were there for an hour already. Court date is coming in the mail. Should I hire an attorney. This is the first accident... Read more »

Leaving the scene of an accident is a 6 point violation, which is as big as they get. It is also a criminal offense that could conceivably put you in jail for three months, although that is not likely. My point is, it's a serious charge, and you should get an attorney who regularly practices... Read more »
I didn't answer the door. Called this morning and the cops said I hit and run a car, on my street. Said that they were getting off their shift and would be over at ten tonight to give me a ticket and I can get me car Monday from impound.

Sounds like you're going to get a ticket for leaving the scene of a property damage accident. That's a criminal misdemeanor, that carries up to ninety days in jail. Find an attorney in your area who practices primarily traffic and drunk driving defense. Although this presumably... Read more »
He had no proof of insurance and was driving a company vehicle

If you were hurt contact a member of the Michigan Assn for Justice--they give free consults. However If it's a company, chances are they have insurance. If police weren't involved, write the company a note to the risk manager to get their insurance information.
I have the money to buy the car. ALSO How would I get my License Plate?

answered on Aug 22, 2018
it's unlikely that a car dealer will sell to you alone, without an adult, because minors may void a contract until their 18th birthday. But, if they do, the dealer will apply for the plate for you. You are not required to be a licensed driver to purchase a car, but you have to be licensed... Read more »

Make the appointment in person. You can then see your file and if it's getting work on it.... Read more »

answered on Jun 24, 2018
If you have insurance that should cover it. Get a copy of the police report. But let your insurance company be your guide--they will provide you with an attorney.
If you have no insurance they may get a judgment against you. Generally your wife would not be involved, but if she has a car... Read more »

The time to try to reopen it would've been when you realized you hadn't gotten it in. If it's not been too long you could try to reopen it but that would mean hiring an attorney and they'd want up front money. I f you were injured in the wreck and it's medically... Read more »

Depends how the roadway is marked. Some roads you may not, would have to go to the next cloverleaf, then head back to make a right turn into the driveway.
Just need to know ..if know one talked to the police not even the one who's injured can they blame one person for the accident!?

I would add to the answer I gave on the other version of this (it is repeated) that the best and simplest if you can afford it is once you have the consultation, if you think the attorney is good then find out what their fee is and make arrangements to pay them so if someone asks you something you... Anyone can blame anyone for anything--whether it sticks or not is a different thing. Best preparation is preparation--so the "someone" needs to contact an attorney who handles criminal cases in the county where this happened.

Due to weather conditions we spun out and hit a guard rail.. no damages were made so police report was not made.

First, I assume you have daughter's vehicle. If not get it back --otherwise you will be charged storage as well. If you bailed it out, great.
