You need to tell the judge exactly what you told us, but technically you are never supposed to cross that line. You may want to hire a lawyer to make sure you get the best defense most of us offer free in office consultations.

First you should hire a lawyer, as you do face up to 60 days in jail on that reckless driving ticket assuming it is a first offense and up to 90 days in jail if you have done this before. Also you face a probable suspension of your drivers license on the speeding ticket. That is why those tickets... View More

We would need to know much more information to answer your question properly and even if this is what you are originally charged as the complaint can be amended at any time. Q: Warning 39-4-97.3. Handsfree on speaker. Cannot find prohibition of speaker in statute? Cited for seatbelt but wearing

answered on Sep 21, 2020

As long as you did not hold/touch your not guilty of the offense of using your cell phone. If you did touch it then it gets tricky. That being said if you only got a seat belt ticket instead, just pay it not worth fighting a ticket under $200.00 for most people.

First for a suspended license or registration ticket you don't need to actually be driving to get the ticket, its the ability to drive, thus if you were in the car with the ignition off, but the keys were in the ignition courts assume this is driving. That being said it does not sound like... View More

Q: Can i be charged for abandoning my vehicle even if it was parked in front of my house?

Sure you can be charged with it, the question is how long was it their and did it have plates and valid insurance and registration which can also change the answer. Speak with a lawyer if you want to fight it but expect to pay that lawyer for his time and advise.
