My GA speeding ticket (84 in a 70) was dismissed through community service and traffic school. I now got another ticket in NC for going 72 in a 55. Will my first ticket be reinstated since it’s only been seven months?

Hopefully not, but where is your License issued? You should hire a competent NC attorney to get the Ticket there dismissed or reduced. Then it has no effect on any DL. It is doubtful NC will talk to GA until the Citation has a disposition, and hopefully will never talk to GA.

No, and the other way of being charged with a crime is an Indictment. Citation is the proper name for Summons to Court where you are not taken into custody, but go to Court!
It was for going 60 in a 30 on a backroad cops are never on and you can see straight ahead far enough in advance to slow/stop if the need arises. However, 60 in a 30 is a nasty ticket and one I'd love to get out of if possible because the chance they care about it being safe despite speeding... View More

I recommend going to Court. Be respectful and kindly tell the cop/prosecutor/ judge of the obvious mistake, but you are here anyway and would like to keep points off your MVR if possible.

What is your question? If you were driving, then you committed the Rule of the Road Violation. I recommend the owner getting the Registration fixed quick, then going to Court with the correct Registration and Tags to show the Prosecutor or Judge.
Received ticket and told that I could either pay it or go to court. The ticket processed stating I must appear. I was not written for reckless driving, and this is my first ticket so I’m confused on what possible out comes I might face if I go to court

You probably need an attorney now. And you will probably need to go to Court. Many points will be added to your MVR, but hopefully you can plead to a much lower speed violation.
It was a 2 car accident but it was on a tight road (backroad) the other drive told them we was both on our own side it wasn’t my fault or his either the road was just a narrow hill and neither of us could see over the hill. They told me go to court early and it may be dismissed but the sessions... View More

Without knowing the exact charges it's hard to give you an answer. Best option would be to consult an attorney. If it's your first offense, even if the charges carry jail time, it's not likely you'll be sentenced to jail on a finding of guilt or a plea. But again, without... View More
Was driving down to our field (a mile and half from my house) our neighborhood hit my car he wasn’t paying attention to the road. I got a ticket for no license and no insurance I did have a 28 year old in the car with me, he told me he didn’t see any reason to arrest me since I was honest and... View More

If the accident was the other driver's fault then the fact you didn't have a license is likely not admissible on fault. Who is fault is determined by what happened in the accident. As to the ticket- It is good that you now have your learner's permit and insurance. The fact that... View More
I was pulled over for speeding and given a ticket. The ticket did not have an amount due for my violations so I called the court and they told me the amount. It is my first ticket and I am paying it because it was out of state and I don’t have time to go to the court 3 hours away from my home.... View More

The Ticket (Citation) you were given is what you probably need to sign your plea of guilty.
Then send the money amount told to you by the Court Clerk. The Court may or may not send the Violation to the DOS, who may or may not tell your State's Vehicle Office. Good Luck.
I was going 57 in a 40 and noticed lights flashing behind me, and I pulled over immediately but I’m not sure how long he was behind me as my music was up a bit. He kept going and was going to another call, but can he look up my plate later and mail me a ticket?

If the LEO saw a Rule of the Road violation, he can issue a Citation, or even get a Warrant for your Arrest. But since no stop occurred, nor Citation issued, it is very likely you will not be charged.
My wife has an IL DL and was involved in an accident in TN. She was cited for failure to yield. The ticket itself is $70 and the police officer said that if she pleads guilty, the fine would be $1000-$1700. The court date is in January. Since she was cited and we live in IL, would it be better to... View More

That amount of fines does not sound correct. Call the Clerk of the Court that issued the Citation, and he should be able to give you a correct total amount. When she pleads guilty, she is negligent per se, so you may wish to talk to your liability insurance co. first. It may by worth the... View More
I received a ticket in TN for going 49 on a new 25mph school zone. However, I will be moving to Puerto Rico in December 12, roughly 2 months before my scheduled court date. Would I suffer any unintended consequences if I were to not pay the ticket and just move? I just dont have $419 on me at the... View More

Most likely whatever State your License is issued from will receive a notice from the clerk. Your issuing State Agency may or may not ignore it. At worst the issuing authority will revoke your License. It sounds like TN Dept of Safety issued your DL, so you probably have a problem.

That appears to be an appropriate stop by an LEO. Go to Court and be respectful.

answered on Nov 29, 2019
Probably not, but call the Court Clerk and find out the costs. You probably need to pay it immediately in full. You might have to go to Court and explain, but I doubt it.
I got a ticket by a city cop in Rutherford county for going 45 in a 30. Should I pay the fine or go to court? He made 2 errors on the ticket where he put one of my last names as a middle name when I have no middle name. He also stated that my vehicle is not commercial when it indeed has a... View More

You should definitely go to Court. Hopefully the DA will talk to you about it, and you can describe the discrepancies which seriously affect the Citation. Be respectful and it might go well.
Will my insurance be affected? Will my dad find out? Do speeding tickets follow the car or the driver?

answered on Nov 20, 2019
Most Rule of the Road violations are reported as points and a criminal record against the driver. It should not affect the insurance, but sometimes carriers monitor anything that comes up on an insured vehicle. The Defendant should hire a competent attorney to represent him.

I think your one Brake Light and Hand Turn Signals are legal. But to prevent frequent stops by LEO's, I recommend rigging up two Brake Lights with Turn Signals if you drive it often. You are certain to attract [unwanted] attention.
I moved a couple of months ago and due to the expense of moving ($2700), I let my insurance lapse. I was pulled over last night for a broken headlight - which I fixed today. Hire a competent attorney now. The law is very tough on this. But there may be no witness/evidence presented, etc.

You might ask a NM lawyer if NM extradites on your particular type of offenses. TN will probably honor any actual request.

answered on Nov 18, 2019
If New Mexico wants to Extradite you, then they put a Petition together and go through the Governor's Office. And if they do, more than likely you will be held as a Fugitive by any TN LEO's. You can also be arrested for just the Fugitive From Justice Warrant. Whether NM goes after... View More

You did the right thing it getting insurance. In most of the courts that I go to, they will be okay with you if you have proof of insurance by your court date. Make sure to bring it with you to court.
