I was nowhere near the vehicle! Hours later a mile and a half up the road

You could file a Motion To Suppress Evidence, but if LEO had any plausible reason to think you were driving, it will be denied.
Without registration, specifically.

A Tennessee attorney should advise, but your question remains open for four weeks. But as a general matter, most places impose a requirement of registration and insurance to leave the lot - it might be temporary, but it's a registration nonetheless. Good luck

LEO may have observed a different speed. Go to Court and testify to what you actually did.
What should I do, I've called the courts and for 2 weeks they have said there is nothing there yet? I don't know what date the court is and it is a 4 hr drive from where I live.

LEO's do make mistakes. You are correct in calling the Courts in the County you were stopped in on a weekly basis. You might hire an attorney for representation.

Probably false as government employees make mistakes all the time. Also what is legally in the possession of one person is often illegal in the hands of another.
I was ticketed for doing 85 in a 70. I don’t live in TN and the officer gave me a ticket with an option to pay online as well as a court date “if I want to fight it”. The ticket has no amount due but has a box checked stating that I don’t have to appear and can mail in a guilty plea as well... View More

Call the Court Clerk for pay instructions. But that is a guilty plea and will add points to your DL. You could hire a TN attorney to try to get it diverted and dismissed or no points, requiring your appearance in Court.
I was going home. Obeying all traffic laws as always. I stopped at a stop sign looked, no one coming. Proceeded. Then at a green light, I proceeded to turn left because I had the green arrow which was blinking indicating the oncoming traffic had the right of way which I yielded for them. When... View More

You need an attorney to represent you. Otherwise plan on fines and MVR points.

Hire an attorney to get is diverted or dismissed.

It is a civil matter, not criminal. Driver/owner can be sued, but not points on MVR.
I was given a ticket for speeding and upon reading it I realized that the ticket had another car and tag alleging that I was speeding and I assume operating that vehicle.

Hire a TN attorney to represent you. You will probably need to appear at the hearing. Wrong target of the radar is a good defense.

You do not need a drivers license to travel in the United States. You only need a drivers license you to operate a motor vehicle on a public roadway. You are free to walk across state boundaries with absolutely no identification papers.

Obtained a clearance letter even when the clerk was busted stealing money if I didn't have a receipt for it they didn't credit it even though I had receipts for stuff that wasn't credited that he stole

What is your question? Getting a TNDL reinstated often involves paid receipts for citations from several Courts being presented to the TN Department of Safety.
The letter says if I don’t pay that they could suspend my license.
Are they allowed to do that and are they allowed to send me a ticket in the mail if I never received one at the scene?
answered on Sep 15, 2023
Citations can be mailed to the defendant. Hire an attorney to go to Court with you. Possibly some type of diversion may occur. Paying it is a conviction and points against your MVR.
There is also my court date, but I’m just wondering why it says I can pay by mail when there’s no amount posted, so does that mean I must go to court?
answered on Sep 13, 2023
Call the Court Clerk and ask. But paying it is a guilty plea and results in points on your DL. You may want to go to Court, as some type of diversion might occur.
We did have open containers but we wasn’t drinking and I wasn’t driving.

What is your question? You definitely need to hire an attorney to prepare for a Preliminary Hearing. You may not have committed a crime.

Cop says my muffler too loud but I’ve never had any cops say this before. He claims there’s no muffler but when I took a pic and showed him he still said it’s too loud. A mustang out of the factory is louder.

Best to correct the problem prior to Court, then advise the DA or Judge the loud pipe is now muffled. It might get dismissed.
There was no time to slow down as curve in road prevented seeing police flashing lights.
In TN do they regularly charge the 30 days jail for this violation?
answered on Aug 3, 2023
No, you usually pay fines and costs. And you get points on your DL. You might want to get a TN attorney to represent you and possibly obtain some type of diversion or a lesser Rule of the Road violation.

Usually a misdemeanor.
