What you describe will not cause dismissal of the charges. Talk with a local attorney, and make sure you appear in Court as directed. Good luck.

What you describe will not cause dismissal of the charges. A person's ID number is not an element of an offense. Make sure you appear in Court as required. Contacting a local attorney would be helpful .
I got an invalid license charge, got my license reinstated paid all fees. Got a letter with a reduction charge, paid that fee. Got a call stating that I'm still being charged with invalid license.

The question, for criminal law purposes, is whether your license was valid at the time of the event. If your cleared your license subsequently, the Court/DA has the authority to lessen the punishment (or even reduce the charge). Contact a local attorney before your court date

Sit down with a local laywer and debelop a game plan. Find out what it costs to post bond and remove the warrant(s). Set a court date to get some more time. See if your attorney can plea bargain dismissal of some cases. Get time to pay on others. Try to avoid conviction(s). Meanwhile, get a... View More

Convictions on no driver's license cases will: 1) delay your ability to obtain a license; 2) impose a surcharge [tax] on your license once you obtain one; and, 3) subject you in the future to an enhanced charge of Driving while License Invalid, where jail time can be imposed as part of the... Obtain a valid driver's license, and present proof of compliance to the Court prior to the appearance date listed on your citation. If you cannot get your license before said date, contact a lawyer in your area.

An additional Failure to Appear charge can be filed against you, late fees could be added, and a warrant could be issued for your arrest. Appear in Court first thing in the morning (or contact a local attorney for advice as to how to proceed; each court has varying procedures, and a local lawyer... View More
And gave me a ticket for just running the stop sign but i don’t know what to do now though bc I don’t have a license to take care of the ticket
answered on Feb 16, 2018
The Court MAY grant deferred disposition on the ticket (which will avoid a conviction), even though you do not have a driver's license. This is discretionary with the Judge, so I suggest you call an attorney in the county where the ticket was issued. Good luck.

I am not sure what you mean by asking if the Judge will "mention any passengers". If you are asking if having passengers in the car will affect or alter the speeding charge, the answer is no. Contact a local attorney if this is not the question you were asking.

In general, traffic cases are strict liability; you either did or didn't commit the offense, and if you committed the offense, the reason why will go to punishment, not guilt or innocence. For example, "I didn't know I was speeding, my speedometer was broken", is not a... View More

A warrant for a traffic citation is the same as a warrant for murder; it is basically an order for law enforcement to take a person int custody, and is effective in all 50 states of the union. You may also have issues in returning to the country if a warrant is outstanding. Contact an attorney... View More
Also they put my boyfriend address and contact # on the citation because the car is his. What are my advantages of not paying this ticket. Also because I do have a DWI but it gets lifted in two weeks

A ticket is just a notice of when and where to appear in Court; errors in the citation will not cause automatic dismissal of any charges filed against you. A conviction on a Driving While License Invalid/Suspended offense will cause an additional suspension period and surcharges to be imposed by... View More
You can not see who is driving in any of the pictures or video. Can I get it dismissed based on lack of proof of who was driving?
answered on Feb 14, 2018
Red light camera citation attach to the vehicle, not the driver. This is the reason they are civil violations. The registered owner of the vehicle is responsible for the vehicle running the light, and if the civil penalty is not paid, a block will be place on the registration of said vehicle.... View More

You are going to have to show some proof to the Court that you resolved the cases; they're not just going to take your word for it. Call an attorney in the county where the case is pending and see what can be done. Good luck.
i got a curfew ticket and have court in a month and i’m only 16 will my parents get notified about this in any way before or after the court?
answered on Feb 12, 2018
Yes, your parents will be notified about the citation, and by law since you are 16, they must make an appearance with you in open Court. You cannot resolve this matter without their knowledge. Make sure the Court is aware of your correct address to insure all notices are sent properly to avoid a... View More

For criminal law purposes, a 17 year old is an adult. What will happen in your boyfriend's particular case depends on: 1) the court where he was placed on probation for on the first ticket, and; 2) where the second ticket is pending. Call a local attorney to see what can be done to avoid... View More

Yes, you can receive a citation after being taken to jail. Take the citation to a local attorney to make sure you are not arrested again.
Or what is the best way to go about with a speeding ticket?

Refusing to sign for a citation has no bearing on the final outcome. In fact, since signing the ticket is actually signing a personal recognizance bond and promising to appear in Court as stated on the citation, refusing to sign CAN give the officer the right to take you to jail and post a bond...
