You will have to contact an attorney in Colorado. The laws of that state will govern this matter, since that is where the incident occurred.

Yes. Avoid a conviction on the no insurance citation. A conviction will cause surcharges to be assessed and a possible license suspension. Call an attorney in the county where the ticker was issued. Good luck.
Can I get them dismissed
answered on Mar 25, 2018
You are not entitled to dismissals on citations because you were in prison, but it may be possible to have time served granted in lieu if paying any fine. This will, however, cause convictions to be reported to the DPS.
answered on Mar 20, 2018
You will have to contact the court where the tickets are pending to discover the fine imposed for those offenses.
I trying to pay online but I don’t know how much to pay. Also I got the ticket in a town 7 hours from where I live. Do I have to drive all the way back there to go to court?
answered on Mar 20, 2018
You can pay the citation, but that will cause a conviction to be reported on your record. A local attorney can appear in court on your behalf and see what can be done to avoid a conviction.

If you are 17, you do not need a parent to appear with you in court. If no final judgment has been entered on the cases, an attorney can help.

You CAN just pay the citation, but that will cause a conviction on your driving record. Contact the court or talk with a local attorney about options to avoid a conviction.
I was mailed a ticket from the city for an inoperable vehicle. I bought an rv to restore however it does run but it was wintertime and i wanted to wait til spring to restore it. I do not believe the officer actually went to my house to write the ticket. Is it legal in texas for the code enforcement... View More

It is not required that a warning be issued before a code citation is issued, but in most jurisdictions a warning is provided. Enter a plea of not guilty on the citation and appear in court to discover if any such warning was provided by a code officer.

No. A culpable mental state is not required on traffic citations (i.e., you do not have to intend to speed, the only question is: were you speeding or not). Call a local attorney
I may be passing through Texas soon. Would I be in trouble if I was pulled over for something?
answered on Mar 15, 2018
You would have to contact the court where the ticket was pending to discover that information.

O would need to know the exact status of your case. The general rule is once a conviction has been entered and a conviction reported, it does not "come off". The key is to never having the conviction entered. Call an attorney in the county where the case was pending/.
A sheriff from was outside of his vehicle at the exit of an HOV Lane stopping any single occupant. I was one of the many. I would like to fget get this ticket, do I have a chance? Also I hear if the officer doesn’t show the case is dismissed. Is that true? And what are my chances of that? Amy... View More

You have a chance of anything, but if you are asking if the defense of "I wasn't the only person doing it" will succeed, the answer is no in my opinion. Good luck.
I was pulled over for no front plate (which isn't required by registered state). Was given a ticket for the no front LP and one for a suspended DL (did not realize one of my surcharges had lapsed). Seeing that technically the cop had no right to stop me, is that grounds for a dismissal on both... View More

If you operate a vehicle on a Texas road, the vehicle must comply with Texas law. Accordingly, the fact no front plate is required by the State the car is registered in is not a defense.

It MAY be the officer who issued the citation has yet to file same with the Court. Make sure you file something with the Court in writing, requesting a court date. Keep a file marked copy of the request in case the ticket turns up 3 months from now. Calling a local attorney would help. Good luck.
My traffic ticket was sold to a debt collection agency. I called the debt collection agency and asked about the amount owed and I was told 421 dollar's, so I payed it in full. I called the dmv and was told I would have a surcharge and to call the county so it would not hit my record. I called... View More

You are going to have to have someone investigate your specific situation to discover the specific facts, but paying a collection agency means you have entered a plea of guilty on the matter and convictions will be reported to the DPS. Call an attorney first.
Per the online Dallas municipal court website it say an extension expired in June 2016? I never requested one let alone for a ticket over 10 years ago. Violation Date was in 2007

If no plea was entered on the case, you may post a bond and schedule a court date to contest the matter. Contact a local attorney and provide the case number to discover your options.
answered on Feb 27, 2018
Inability to pay does not equate to not guilty. A decision on whether you actually committed the offenses must first be made. If you are found not guilty, you do not owe any money. If you are found guilty , fines would be assessed, THEN the question of your inability to pay could be addressed.... View More
i think it was to much to cost for failed to stop the school bus , can you tell me why the court cost this much?
answered on Feb 24, 2018
This must be a local ordinance violation that you son allegedly committed; $1,800 exceeds the statutory limits for a class c misdemeanor otherwise. I cannot comment on the specifics of his case, but it's worth contacting a local attorney over that amount of money. Good Luck.
Port Athur policeman is now harassing my son with bogus speeding tickets, looking for me.
answered on Feb 23, 2018
Just because the tickets are 20 years old does not necessarily mean they are bogus. There must be something in the system that caused these matters to show up, and if you fail to respond, the possibility exists that a warrant may issue for your arrest. Contact an attorney in Beaumont/Port Arthur... View More
