Im 19 clean driving record and got pulled over in a school zone, 38 in a 20 what should I expect with or without a lawyer. Without an attorney, you are looking at a conviction and an increase in your insurance premiums. With an attorney, that attorney will try to get the ticket amended out of a school zone and get you Court Supervision, which your insurance company will never see. Hire an attorney.
My sister was driving my car and it didn’t have insurance at the time. She got hit by a car and got a ticket for not having insurance. She has court in a few days and I still haven’t been able to put her under my insurance policy but the car has insurance now. My question is, is having the... View More

Give her the proof of insurance that you have now. It will be considered late compliance and make her eligible for Court Supervision.

No, unless you appear in court. If you appear in court, the fine will be increased due to mandatory assessments.
What should I be looking forward too?

I'm a 17 yr old MO resident and got an IL ticket for 54 in a 35 construction zone from Alexander Co
I have 2 pts in MO for speeding already. I need my license for work and school and can't afford a lawyer or suspension. Should I just pay or is there a chance going before the judge would help?

Due to your age and the type of ticket you received, I believe your ticket should have or has been marked as "Court Appearance Required", which means you do not have a choice in the matter, you have to appear in court on the scheduled court date. Hiring an attorney will help you prevent... View More

This would either be a Misdemeanor or Felony Battery. If you or someone you know has been charged with Battery, that person needs to hire a criminal defense attorney as soon as possible.

Does this mean if I pay fine I’m not guilty. Also should I just go to court date and ask for traffic school.
answered on Sep 27, 2019
Yes, you should go to the Court date and request Court Supervision. If you receive Court Supervision, your insurance company will not find out about this ticket and it will save you money in the long run.
I got the ticket 8/20, removed tints two days ago and have court in Rolling Meadows tomorrow 9/27. If that’s not enough proof, can I have an officer from the City of Chicago sign off on it?
answered on Sep 26, 2019
It is likely the ticket will be dismissed. You should also take a picture of the work done to your car and bring that picture with you to court along with the receipt.

You should hire an attorney before you do anything. That attorney will be able to file a Motion To Reduce Bond and have it heard in Court. You will have to appear in court with that attorney on the hearing date. The sooner you do this the better.
