But they still arrested him because he would not talk. What do i do to get him out of the situation or can he get the charges dropped since i didn’t write a report ? They are charging him with domestic assault

I think that you need a lot of more answers and the police report would be a good place to start,

Well, typically in criminal court, they are going to set several more dates if necessary until the police officer is able to show up. Police officers have very busy schedules, and the courts are more than willing to give them sufficient latitude to show. As far as the procedural issue of whether... View More

Generally speaking, I was say yes. The State of Tennessee is an Employment at Will state, which means they can pretty much do what they want unless it is illegal or in violation of a written contract. Well, if you can read the actual statute, then I am wondering why you don't already know.
Hi there, I’m not really familiar with how court really works out. I got charged with simple possession, i pled Guilty and told me I had to take a 4 hour alcohol and drug class which was $100, 24 hours of community service and pay $360 in court fees. I was wondering if I could just pay off the... View More

Well, if he did not show, then techincally, he is in contempt of court. You need to have your attorney file a Motion for Contempt to place him in jail.
I was told my notary seal was thrown away. I have no proof it was disposed of properly.
answered on Aug 20, 2018
I don't understand your question properly. You get notary seals by contracting with an insurance company. They are good for a certain period of time. If you still have the paperwork that validates that is legitimate, just take it to a printing company and get a new one. Make sure that you... View More

Can he file for postconviction??? Even thou everyone involved in the situation knows he is guilty.
answered on Aug 15, 2018
You can always file for something; however, whether you get it depends on the District Attorney General and the presiding Judge.
You should consult with a local criminal defense attorney or get a public defender or someone that does pro bono work if you cannot afford one.
The law here is saying that they can use aireal feet instead of ground feet in a school zone charge.

I'm not quite sure that I completely understand your question. If you could rephrase it, then it would be more helpful to me. I think you are talking about aircraft measurements; and, as I recall they are measured it knots.
I thought check was good. I called the bank on check and it said the check would clear. Now the bank is trying to press criminal charges for fraud.

If you receive a check from an unknow force, don't take any money from it until it clears the bank.

It really depends upon the trial Judge and the District Attorney. You should obtain local counsel to represent you. If you cannot afford an attorney, one can be appointed to represent you by the court.

Well, first I don't know how you didn't live at the apartment complex when you said that it was YOUR apartment complex. The facts that the car was not registered and there were no updated tags will not help in court. You need to consult with local defense counsel if you can afford it.... View More
