This is a difficult situation. You will need to actively prove to the IRS that you should not be responsible for the taxes due. Hopefully, there is time to file an appeal. If not, there are other ways to remove the liability.

It is a good idea to immediately file your tax returns. If needed, you can obtain your income transcripts directly from the IRS so that you have a record of your income that was reported to the IRS from which you may start return preparation.
For liposuction related to a medical condition, is a pre-op diagnosis necessary to write it off on taxes? Can a post-op diagnosis still qualify for the deduction? Interested in understand my tax eligibility in this situation.

A tax lien which you describe can last up to 20 years. If you sell the aircraft, then the proceeds from the sale would be applied to the tax lien. Any funds beyond the amount owed on the tax lien may be distributed to you barring that there are no other lien holders.
