You do not have to refile the divorce action if it has already been filed if you move after the initial filing if the divorce was not finalized. 888-343-4529.

We will just assume that your child is an infant or under the age of 3. Custody is determined what is best for the child. It sounds like there may be more to the facts to warrant a request for a modification. If he has an attorney then so should you.

Q: I am currently paying child support arrears. My daughters were adopted when they turned 18, should I still be paying?

My daughters mother and step-father have been married for years and waited until the girls turned 18 so I wouldnt know about the adoption process. I only found out about a year ago. I no longer have a withholding order for child support but I DO have a withholding order for arrears.

In general most orders allow for 50% of each parent paying uninsured expenses. You could file a motion to determine arrears to address the time the children were with you as well. Let us know if we can help 888-343-4529.

Q: Do i need a lawyer to file a written answer, or should I do it myself?

I've received a citation for personal service from the county clerk for a cps case. They've eliminated the perpetrator of no neglect, but is trying to force myself and my daughter to take agree to therapy, which I feel we do not need. I'm unsure of what I should do next.
