You will likely need to go to court and show them the inspection printout.
They have a computer system to track the inspections now and if you do not comply, you may receive a notice of suspension

Sorry for your loss. Check at the probate court where he passed.

Of course you can. Whether or not you will prevail is a whole different question that will depend on the facts and circumstances that caused you to realize this 2 years later.

Not if the ticket provides for a pay by mail option. If the dates are close, you might want to confirm the receipt of the payment before the court date or go "just to be sure"

If she is on the lease, you may have to evict her as there are penalties for self help from a landlord such as changing the locks.

Is this legal
answered on May 3, 2017
That's difficult to answer with the very limited facts here. If your landlord filed an eviction case in the court and followed the law, it may be legal. If they did not, it may not be.

I accidentally dropped the toilet paper holder in the toilet while it was flushing, & it went down. Now it's not flushing properly. My landlord said it was "negligent" of me, and that I would have to pay the plumber. I'm on Section 8, but this is his private apartment... View More

You seem to admit that you clogged the toilet with the toilet paper roller. Read the lease carefully. You may end up being responsible for the removal of the foreign object from the toilet costs. Also, don't bring your phone in the bathroom.

sign was up and I did not stop until I was at the stop sign, at which point I noticed it and slammed on the breaks. What are my chances of getting a summon, and what are my chances of winning if I fight a conviction?

Be careful out there. As long as you didn't pass the bus, you should be OK. If you are given a citation, your chances for achieving a good result will be enhanced if you engage an attorney to assist you.

21 years ago, the court dealt with this issue. At the time, this boy you describe was a minor. Hopefully, the case record was sealed because of his minority. So, the best thing you might do for your friend is to not discuss the case in public.

If you agree, the court may approve of your arrangements. If you do not agree, you will have to show that this arrangement is not suitable, nor in the best interest of your child.
