Q: In ky I got charged with domestic violence with an ex after I put her outside with just a shirt on

Why did they charge me with domestic violence with a minor when we’re two grown adults, wasn’t any kids involved! This looks so bad on my record, like, I would never hurt a kid !!

Q: What options do I have when I'm no longer physically, or mentally, able to be someone's POA?

I live in KY and I've been my ex-husbands POA since the beginning of '24. Due to recent mental, and physical, health issues I'm no longer capable of holding this position.

Relinquish or rescind the POA and allow the ward to select and appoint a newPOA.

Q: Before my parents passed away they put their home and property in my name and my daughters name.

I've lived in the house for 3 years now and my daughter just moved in. She wants me to move out but I have paid the bills and taxes here since I've lived here. What rights do I have?

Q: Can you get charged with a EPO violation If the judge dismissed the EPO before violation hearing

My ex got a epo against me on may 17th I was arrested for epo violation that I never committed and may 22nd the epo was dismissed/no findings I have court June 3rd for the epo violation. Can I even be charged still if it was dismissed

Yes. You can bc the epo was in effect when she alleged you violated it.

Q: County to file a motion for custody/TS. County where current order was issued or county where child/custodian live?

I am trying to determine the proper county to file a motion in for custody/timesharing. The county where the current child custody order was issued, which is also the county where I live, or the county where the child and current custodian live

Safer to file in your county. It can always be changed by the Court.

Q: If i was 15 in foster care and did not consent to being moved across state lines for adoption is that legal?

I had been in foster care for a year. I was very adamant about not wanting to be moved states. I was later kicked out and never even adopted.

Q: If I file a out of control warrant on my adopted child will they take my other adopted kids out of the house.

He is adopted and is really disrespectful to adults calling us stupid and telling us to shut the f up. I'm Afraid if I file a warrant on him they will take my other adopted children.

Q: If I have a relative adoption plan started and both me and the baby test positive will they take baby from them

I've had problems with cps 3 different times and never been able to keep the kids but this time I made a adoption plan with my aunt and uncle. Will the baby be took from them

Q: If I have an adoption plan started before I give birth. Can cps take the baby from adoptive parents?

I've had my other 3 taken at birth due to drugs being in both our systems. My case was closed last week on the last baby. I started a adoption plan and have parents picked as well. Will Cps come to the hospital and take the baby from them?

She has had 3 other kids taken after birth. Just got last cps case closed. Can we just do straight out adoption from birth? And not deal with cps

CPS cannot allow or disallow you to do anything. If the Court issued a no contact order, it is the court who intends you to have no contact, not CPS.

Child's mother filed for custody in Carter County, she lives in Boyd County and so do children.

Q: Someone else has guardianship of my daughter. What do I need to do to get her back.

I live in Kentucky but the case is in Michigan. There is no cps case against me. I have no criminal record. She was literally kidnapped and taken from me

You will need to hire an attorney in Michigan and litigate the case where the child is located.
