He can bad mouth you as much as he likes. But you can use the physical violence if you file a complaint now and it wasn't too long ago.

Q: My wife & I have legal custody of my niece. What happens if her parents want her back & I don't feel it's what's best ?

A judge signed giving us custody. We Just want is best for the child. Just wanted to know if they would have to take us to court if we didn't think they were ready for her.Also, wanted to know if we wanted to adopt her would it be possible? The baby just needs stability and security.

If a judge gave you custody, then the parent would have to file for a change of custody to get her back. You can adopt if the parents have failed to pay child support and visit her for at least 6 months. Hire an adoption lawyer.

Q: I have had a non-related child in my care for at least 13 1/2 years, she is 15 years old. Do I have any rights?

the father is trying to terminate child support on the grounds that this child does not live with the mother, therefore the mother is considering taking the child back from me, by the way, I don't have any legal papers on her.

Q: I am the mother and I'm wondering if I can move out of state with my child with out the fathers consent

the father works offshore for 28+days and is home for 14 days some times less and complains when our child need something he hardly sees our child as it is. there is no court orders in play no child support and no custody in play either

The Atty for parent stated in email that they couldn't do appeals. They didn't have the staff. Under the rules of Atty for this kind of case it states differently. How to appeal for all the violation of the case ? Where to file the paperwork for Appeal?

Yes city courts in Bogalusa, Slidell and Denham Springs can hear CINC cases. If the attorney for the parent was public defender, they may not be able to do appeals. Appeal must be filed in District Court in Covington quickly. Hire a private Juvenile Court lawyer.

Yrs it is entirely possible that he will end up on the birth certificate and with some.visitation. you need to hire a custody lawyer.

Child cannot decide until age 18. Buy they can give the judge their input starting at age 12. Hire a custody lawyer
