The answer depends on how long was the car in front of your house with the flat tire, if it was a few hours no problem if it was a few days you may have a big problem.
The normal amount of points in NYC for this violation is 3. Is it true there are no points for this ticket with an NJ license? I just find what the officer told me about no points hard to believe.

Any out of state moving violation transfers to NJ as 2 points on your NJ license. I suggest hiring a lawyer if getting no points is important to you.

You can fight any ticket the question is can you win and generally most judges believe the officer. If you had a video it would help a lot more than a tape of the conversation.

You definitely need to get Counsel to sort out this mess. I am not sure why you were pulled over unless there was something amiss with the traffic stop. Please seek out counsel to assist in this matter.

39:4-98 .14 Speeding (.14 Indicates Exceeding By 10-14 Mph is what's on the ticket. Is it better to appear in court and plead not guilty and just pay a higher fine? Or just pay the fine and accept the 2 points? This is my first ticket so I'm not really sure what to do. Would my insurance... View More

With the increased cost of recycling it may not be economically or environmentally feasible to continue to recycle. As a member of the governing body of my municipality I want to know if we can eliminate the recycling program in our municipality without penalty.

Attorneys here are not allowed to give you a specific legal advice only answer general questions. This question is best answered by your township attorney that is what he is paid for and that is his job. What I will say is that, it was never a green thing to recycle as it generally cost more... What’s my best route to fight it?
Also so happens to be on my tickets the officer put a completely wrong license plate number, does this make a difference?
Thanks

Unfortunately it may, it all depends on what the officer has to say about it. Take pictures with you to court, however the law states that you must always stay to the right so being in the center of a road is not allowed. If you want to have the best chance of winning I suggest hiring a good... View More

You haven't asked a question but if you need to get no points, I suggest hiring a lawyer. Most of us traffic ticket lawyers offer a free in office consultation.

More information would be needed to properly answer your question, but generally only the judge could do it.

If you have a good lawyer and some luck you may just get a fine if you don't, you could lose your license for a year and get a fine. I suggest hiring an attorney and it all starts with a free in office consultation that most of us offer.
