You should again read your Sentence and Probation papers. You probably will be discharged then. You also should talk to your probation officer to discuss this. Good luck to you. Stay out of trouble.

Your best bet is to discuss this with your DHS caseworker and see what the DHS attitude is about what you want. Also ask when the next Court date is scheduled, and tell them you want to be there. The Judge should have appointed an Attorney or Guardian Ad Litem for you, and perhaps even a CASA... View More

No clue why he'd be charged with a felony. As of July 1, 2017, that offense is a misdemeanor. Hire an attorney who knows the law.

You should stay where you are until you finish school. It's pretty rough out there on your own, and you might not finish school with the problems you could have.

It's not an easy question to answer. The Judge will want to do what's in your best interests. Since you aren't in an abusive situation, and your complaint is "mentally draining", I have doubts about this happening. If you want some real heavy mental and emotional draining,... View More

I'm really sorry there is a family problem here. I wish I knew more about what is going on here, like what is the gift, and why do they want it back. A general answer would be no, BUT a better answer would be that's in your best interest, in the long run, for you to let them gave it... View More

The reason you have not received an answer before is that you don't give enough facts to determine the correct answer. If you still want help, ask again, and give more details, like what kind of hearing, who is holding it, and why, what't the subject matter, etc.

You possibly could be picked up as a "Runaway Juvenile" in your new home, before you turn 18, BUT, a good lawyer there could probably prevent them returning you to your home. AND, considering everything, and you being almost 18, I seriously doubt if this would happen. Also, to return you,... View More

He is drinking smoking weed and refuses to do anything we ask. He steals from my purse . Has missed around 30 days of school...out of 38 . He laughs at his dad when he tells him to do something... help we feel trapped by his bad behavior and lack of options.

Have you talked to DHS about this? It appears now that he is a "Delinquent Child". The Court can order him placed in an environment where he can't get weed or alcohol, and must attend school. You should consult with an experienced family law attorney in your county to help with this... View More

Would depend on exactly what happened and if/when it was reported and other factors. Don't post details of the case online - visit with an attorney in person to review the specifics of this case.

Nope, who you live with will be a decision made by the Judge in their divorce case.

You do have the right to tell the Judge which PARENT you want to live with though, but GF is not an option.

She is a child. Must have consent. Depending on when the sexual contact began, this could also be a serious crime. Consult a criminal defense attorney.
