More information is needed with respect to the particular law you are referring to.
I was in a car accident just recently and I was wondering if I was able to pay a failure to control speed ticket online to avoid any court fees and such without going to court. I realize I am admitting guilt.

Online payment ability depends on the court where your citation is filed. Such information should be located on the ticket you were given. Good luck.

I am not sure of your exact question. Call an attorney and discuss the matter. Good luck.
My bf got his 3rd speeding ticket in Texas. The first one was in April which got deferred along with taking the drivers safety course. The second one was around November which he was able to get deferred as long as he completed the 6 month probation. He just got another one this end of February.... View More

Your boyfriend MAY get his license suspended. The new citation violates the terms of his deferred probation. Call an attorney in your area. Good luck.

Convictions remain on your record forever. Has a plea been entered on the cases you are discussing? Calling an attorney may help. Good luck.

If you cannot afford an attorney, you can request the Court appoint an attorney to represent you. If you believe you can retain a lawyer, start calling attorneys in your area. Good luck.

Called the county and was told their software was updated so all outstanding tickets were being pursued. No warrant yet, drivers license eligibility is still good. Yes, a 15 year old traffic ticket can still be prosecuted even if the citation was issued in your maiden name and you are now married. The question is: were you the individual who was issued the ticket back then, regardless of what your name was or is now. Request an abstract of your record from... View More
How can fight this?, County also tried to charge me leaving the scene but statue of limitations played for the county and could no longer attempt to charge me. Although because it had lingered about the ticket and accident I was taken in in another city of Castle Hills in San Antonio for felony... View More

You will most likely be required to hire a lawyer to help sort that out because several issues are involved. Is the SOL still in play with respect to the citation received in the mail? If the citation is from the same incident the SOL should also apply. You should consult with a lawyer, many give... View More
They are trying to get me to pay an insanely high amount of money for never getting it taken care of, in specific no I never did show up to take care of it. But I did do some time in the county jail under the impression anything else (charge wise) would probably just run concurrently with this jail... View More

If the charging instrument was filed with the court within 2 years from the date of the alleged offense, the statute of limitations is satisfied. Only the court where the case is pending can grant time served credit towards fines and costs (meaning if you were in jail for a case from Court A, you... View More

I am not sure of your exact question, but if you are asking if this clerical error will cause dismissal of the citation, the answer is probably not.

You may want to consider hiring an attorney. Many times an attorney will charge no more than the cost you would pay for the fines.
Definitely get a copy of paperwork proving the car was insured at the time you were stopped as you will want to present this evidence in court.

If there are no statute of limitations issues, then the answer to your question is yes, you can be charged with an offense 14 years after the alleged incident.

Will getting insurance the same day you got the citation help dismiss the no insurance ticket?

No, obtaining car insurance after you received a citation will not cause the ticket to be dismissed. Insurance must but be in effect at the time the citation was issued.

Contact the Texas Rangers (with the Department of Public Safety, not the baseball team) and the Attorney General's office if you believe your family is the subject of harassment by local police. Good luck.
