Contact a member of the f Washington State Association for Justice. They give free consults. My advice--take the 1000. Only rarely are there significant amounts for loss of consortium. Yours may be a uniquely compelling case, but generally juries take the position it's for better or worse,... View More

You were injured years later--if you are asking can you make a claim, if a passenger I'd sue both but if it's "years" chances are there is a statute of limitations issue.Contact a member of the State of Washington Assn for Justice.

Not sure why there's no insurance but if it's 20k I suggest you contact an attorney in your area because it's certainly worth paying for a consultation if you have to when $20,000 is on the line. Letting someone use your name means usually you accept to be ....it.

You will want to show the total loss value. That is what you owe--what an insurance company would have to pay. You also owe sales tax on that, which is paid to him. To avoid having your license suspended you need to make an agreement as to the value. Hint: don't spent time trashing his value... View More

His insurance company paid for his damage and now they want to collect it from you. I would try to work something out with them. I would not ignore this. Was there a police report. Was your vehicle damaged? You can file a claim with his insurance company for your damage. Get insured going forward.
