You are correct. You'll have an easier time going forward in the civil arena than you will getting the state attorney to file against her.
If I start dating someone as a minor and I turn 18, and she's a year behind is that O.K.? I'm not 18 yet but want to know for the future. It's a weird age to be at and I don't want kissing her to suddenly become sexual assault or something.

Frankly, her father's decision to keep his (currently) 16 year old daughter away from a 27 year old Is 100% legal and perfectly sane.
You Have zero rights. He does have a right to keep you away, and you are walking a very fine line.

Besides significant injury? They would be in violation of both criminal and civil law. I think you are asking about what would happen to you- if you were really defending yourself you're safe.

Well, you can sue him for property damage and your daughter can sue him for personal injury; however, if he didn't have insurance he likely does have any collectable assets so you would likely be throwing your money away.
