If you haven’t filed any charges, then there’s nothing to be dropped and no need to tell the police anything. But, the guy at whom you threw the plate could press charges against you on his own initiative. Good luck.
I did six months in jail for a charge. Went to trail the case was dropped and re filed. I was O.R. And fighting case on the outside. If they drop case again or are unable to convict, can I sue for time spent in jail?

Based on what you provided, if they arrested you properly and you were proper arraigned and unable to post bail, then any success in filing unlawful arrest would be difficult.

You are bound by the terms of the contract and nothing outside of it. If the amount on the contract is what you paid, then you are not in breach of contract. If they are saying you are in breach, then ask them to produce the contract on which they are basing their claim. Good luck.

They would have to ask the clerk where the charges were filed for the case file. The case file will have the indictment available for review.
