Q: Hi I missed my court date for a speeding ticket on the 13ath I'm in Florida and the ticket is from Adel Georgia. Help!

What happens now? What do I do bc I can't find a probono in that area. I've never been in trouble so I don't know what to do. Any advice is greatly appreciated

Call the court and ask them to reset the court hearing date. See if you an reach out to the prosecutor and work out a plea in abstentia.

Otherwise, find an attorney in the area who can handle that for you without you having to appear.

I am so sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, there is no cause of action against anyone for securing the scene. Under GA law the person making the left turn should always yield to oncoming traffic. See if you can find a good traffic ticket attorney in your area to fight it in court. Personalized plates in Georgia are known as Special license Plates or Prestige License plates. You have to submit aMV-9B form to the Georgia Department of Revenue. Your on the right track as far as who gets the money.

Another driver can not sue you for lack of car insurance. That is not a civil matter. Only the police can give you citation or the state can suspend your license based on lack of insurance.
