I would call the police department and try to get in touch with the person you spoke with to see if the report has been forwarded to a detective for review. You could also call the unemployment office and they may have special investigators that would look into your case.

It depends on what was promised.what the breeder knew and how reliable the DNA test is? If the breeder knowingly misled you and sold you something he knew to be false then that could be a case for fraud.

Q: So I recently got pulled over due to no seat belt on but got charged with 4 different charges. What is going to happen?

No seatbelt, suspended license (which was new to me), no insurance, no registration plates. The officer didn't handcuff me and im assuming it was because of my carseat. Am I just going to pay a fee? If so, how much?

If you have proof that you had a valid license and insurance you are not looking at any jail time. If anything was suspended or lapsed at the time you were pulled over you need to get it renewed before court. I would contact an experienced Attorney to help represent you and minimize your exposure.

Q: I want to get a divorce. I want my husband to move out today. Can this be done?

I've been asking him to leave for two years. He doesn't work, doesn't pay any bills and refuses to leave. I'm done waiting on broken promises and arguing every single day.

You can file for divorce at anytime. You do not need his permission. You will likely not be able to have him leave the home right away unless he agrees or there are allegations of abuse etc. A divorce in Kentucky takes at least 60 days if you have children and can be faster if you do not have... Bond is always in the discretion of the Judge. The factors are serious nature of the offense, likelihood to reoffend, prior record and the defendant's financial ability to post bond. To answer your question yes it is possible.

You can be charged with a misdemeanor and it can be amended up for certain reasons like if they find out it’s a fourth offense DUI or a third assault within five years etc. You would have to be indicted on any felonies before you are convicted.

He should have a right to see his children unless those right were fully taken away by a Court which is very rare. If the child is in Indiana he can either file an action where they have a prior custody or divorce action or he can hire an Indiana Attorney and file in the county where the mother... View More

If the police definitely know who he is then he needs to hire an attorney and have that attorney communicate with the police. The Attorney can access if he should get out his side of the story and it is less likely that he will be arrested if he hires an attorney.

Q: A mechanic messed up my brakes while "inspecting them" and I nearly got in a wreck. Can I press criminal charges?

brakes were functional before service. The mechanic told me explicitly I did not need brake work. The brakes failed, I noticed a brake fluid leak, second party mechanic confirmed and documented that the brakes had been reassembled incorrectly causing the leak.

This sounds more like a civil case where you could file an action against the mechanic, his garage or their insurance company if you can prove it was his fault. I don’t think there would be criminal charges unless you can prove this person directly tried to hurt you rather than just doing bad... View More
