Hire a good lawyer to tell your story to the prosecutor and Judge. You could also attempt to file charges for swearing out a false warrant with the County Attorney's office.
I have her on a text telling me that the only way I can use a car that is in both of our names is if I give her money! Is that not extortion?
answered on Apr 9, 2021
It’s not extortion but she also has no right to say that unless it’s a car she’s been using for a long time that you have always made the payments in the past. Legally it’s yours and hers to do with whatever you want.
Almost eight years i don’t want anything from him and vice versa do I have to have tax returns?
answered on Apr 7, 2021
You should have a pretty straightforward divorce. I still recommend you consult an attorney to make sure there are not any mistakes. As far as tax returns you do not have to have them off to file for divorce.

You can get a packet from some local Courthouses or you can buy standard forms at places like Office Depot. I don't recommend handling a divorce by yourself without an Attorney but you have the legal right to do so.
My husband and I have no kids together, we don't own any property or vehicles together, I'm not seeking alimony, keeping it simple.
Some of the papers in the self help packet has to be notarized. Does the court do this when I file the papers, or do I have to have that done... View More

Yes you can participate without an attorney you can list yourself as pro se because you’re representing yourself. It’s always my advice that you hire an attorney. There are notaries available at the courthouse or you can go to a bank and have your signature notarized. You must sign in front of... View More

You need to have someone else go in your place to protect your business. If that is not an option then you will have to petition the court to lift this restriction either at the hearing or by separate motion. If you are found at this location you could be arrested for violating the EPO and you... View More

I think you should talk to law-enforcement or the prosecutors office in your jurisdiction. If she threatened you for attempting to contact CPS or filing charges that in and of itself could be a felony for intimidating a witness in the legal process. You could also discuss the child endangerment... View More
officers were told they could not search without warrant so they claimed they seen a barillo pad and a butane lighter is that probable cause, which was not barillo pad it was stuffing out of my pillow?
answered on Mar 17, 2021
I would need more details like why are the police at your home, could they see your pillow through a window, did you allow them in your house, were you on probation where they would have a right to search your house etc. Typically police need a warrant to enter your home but there are many... The grandmother of his girlfriend was ok with there relationships but now is freaking out and I'm just trying to look out for my little brother and don't want to see him go to jail

He can be charged with crimes some but that risk and range of charges greatly increases if the relationship started before she was 14 years old or if the boyfriend is in any kind of position of trust like teacher, coach, employer etc.

I’m not sure if you’re talking about turning yourself in or giving a police officer identification.
answered on Mar 1, 2021
The police officer typically has the right in Kentucky to ask for identification and you have an obligation to provide it. If you fail to give identification it could give rise to suspicion of other activity.
about seeing probation
answered on Feb 23, 2021
They serve the public and deal with hundreds of people every week. They don’t have a choice on when they can or can’t meet with people. The average citizen has more choices which is why probation officers are being vaccinated first.
answered on Feb 23, 2021
One of the worst things you can do on probation is not call back or stay in touch with your probation officer. They run the show. If you have legitimate concerns about Covid like pre-existing conditions or some other legitimate concerns you should voice them with your probation officer. The judge... View More

I would encourage you to contact a lawyer in that state immediately if you were actually being charged with a crime. Generally speaking in fraud cases the more proof you have for your side of the argument the better.

A court can order CPS intervention or a police can contact CPS if they feel that it is necessary because a child is in dange. However, there are other options that typically do not involve CPS. If you file an emergency protective order/EPO against your husband if he is violent or making threats... View More

I don’t understand your question. If you got a DUI in Florida you would be subject to Florida laws and you would have to ask a Florida attorney what the best solution to your problem will be.

It depends on the context. Is this employment or a court case? Lying to another person is not a crime in Kentucky. Lying to a police officer is also typically not a crime but not recommended. Lying to a federal agent is a crime. Lying to a Judge can be a contempt or even a crime of perjury.... View More
