I don't think that I can file for an abuse-related case but I did hear of a type of emancipation where I can still live in my home with the parent that has custody of me but I can be free to make certain decisions for myself and I can leave the home if necessary without being filed as a... This is very difficult and expensive to get done. From what you've said, I don't think a judge would approve it. Do you have a family member you can live with? If so, your parents might consent, or a petition for guardianship can be filed.

If you're being abused, or...

There is a child support calculator on the OK DHS website. You will need to enter gross monthly income for each and health insurance costs. Even if you don't have all the info, this should give you an idea what it will be.

Contact the court clerk in that county for a copy. Files are confidential, but since it's your daughter, you're entitled to a copy. Take ID, and you may have to see the Judge to get copies. Then You should consult an experienced Family Law Attorney, in your area, for help with this problem.

Q: The dad of my son hasn't been around at all. I'm filing for childsupport, can he be given joint custody if he demands it

I feel like he would demand joint custody, although he hasn't been around at all. He kicked me out when I was pregnant. He can be spiteful.

Just asking for it doesn't mean he's going to get it. A judge won't order it if the parties can't work together.
