The constodial parent never told he moved. I don't see my child

You need to file a Motion to Modify in the case where custody was granted. See a lawyer in that county ASAP to get things started for you.

Yes, fastest way is to hire a lawyer to help you. Find one in the county where you live. Many family law attorneys will work out payment plans. If there is no way to hire your own lawyer, go to DHS for help. But be aware, in most parts of Oklahoma it can be a few months before they start your case.
My sister went to jail and her youngest daughter she has custody over. She verbally said i want my mother to be her care giver while i am in jail. She has not filled any paper work out we are afraid her father who is not on her birth certificate and has been absent in her life due to being in... View More

A lot depends on how long she is expected to be in jail. If only a few months, I wouldn't worry about it since there has not been contact with the child, and he is not on the birth certificate. To do anything, he would have to hire an attorney, and file a paternity action, and mom, and persons... View More
Of my life he live in Indiana. I don't have much information since I was hiding from him even after I moved from Illinois to Mannford Ok in 2011. Can something be done.
answered on Mar 12, 2018
If you have opened a child support case in Indiana, it may be some time before they get to working on it. Oklahoma DHS Child support is understaffed, and behind working on these cases. You can speed things up by finding a lawyer in his home county in Oklahoma to assist you. Good luck, it's not... View More

How did you file for increased child support? It appears that it was not done correctly. It appears that you may need a lawyer to help you, or contact DHS and tell them of the error and see if they will fix it. You can also go to the DHS website, and use the child support calculator there, and find... View More
If she quits her job to stay home and the kids are in school and there are no medical disabilities or reasons why she cannot work, and she has joint custody with the father, is she entitled to go back to court to raise child support because she voluntarily left her career of 10 years?
answered on Mar 12, 2018
No, llif a person voluntarily quits work, child support is based on what they're capable of earning.

I have a CSS case and want to modify
answered on Mar 9, 2018
Talk to DHS for help. If you have a support case, they can help modify it, but it can take some time to get it done. A private attorney can do it faster. Jon Ford is a great attorney in Enid. Call him for help.

If there is no divorce decree, go ahead and move. When either of you files, a child support order can soon follow. Good luck.

My divorce has taken 2+ years, mostly due to slow system or overly busy lawyer. I am very tired of waiting and paying so much. My husband and I totally agree to all terms, is there something we can do to move it to final decision? We both want to move on from this.
