If you were domiciliary parent, then you get the dependency deduction unless a judgment says otherwise.

Short answer, yes. But the Judge can also assess the cost of the drug screen to the party who requested it, if the results are clean.

Hire a custody lawyer to file for emergency custody. Do NOT let him or his mother have your son until there is a judgment of custody, because he doesn't have to give your son back without one.

Your attorney can Intervene on your behalf into the relative's petition for sole custody and an exception of res judicata. If you don't have a custody lawyer, you need one.

When your youngest child turns 5, your attorney needs to file a Motion to Modify child support. If she doesn't go back to work, income can still be imputed to her.

Q: If my ex wife's case was abandoned under the c.c.p. art. 3954 is the entire case dismissed?

My ex wife filed for divorce in 2018 but was denied because she filed the wrong divorce, however I was ordered to pay child support and spousal support. At the time I didn't know the divorce was denied because I was ordered to pay the judgement.
