Q: Can I go anywhere at the age of 17 without parents permission and as long as I come back home, is it okay?

Say I want to go to a friends house, or a party and I have no permission but I’m 17 and I’m coming back home the same day Would I get in legal trouble…?

You are a minor for another year and you can end up as a delinquent or your over 18 friends can be arrested for harboring you.

Q: Eariler i had asked if i could move out at 17 in loiusianna

I was answered with a you can move out with a friend once your 18 what about the permission law saying if the law is called by your parent in louisanna because you left while being 17 the law cant mdo anything about it because you are the permission age meaning you dont need your parents permission?

Q: They’re daughter moved out and was 17. But the sheriff wont get them? Is that not illegal?

I want to move out and I am almost 17. But i dont understand this? I thought i needed to get emancipated but on one of yalls questions like the one above yall replied that the sheriff wont get them if theyre 17.

You can't move out without parental permission until you are 18.

i got pregnant at 17 and my boyfriend was 16. i turned 18 about 2 months later but he doesn’t turn 17 until a couple months after me. will i get in any legal trouble bc he is technically still a minor

A person age 17 or older commits the crime of carnal knowledge of a juvenile by engaging in consensual oral, anal, or vaginal sex with a child between the ages of 13 and 17. Q: Can I move to my mothers home even though she is not my legal guardian?

I am 17 year's old, I will be 18 next month in May. My father is my legal guardian but I want to move to my mothers due to my fathers mental, emotional, and verbal abuse. Can I move to my mothers without permission? If I do, what would the police do?

You have already asked this question. My advice was to move into your mother's home and report your father's physical abuse to the police.

You would not get her in trouble IF:

1) you get a Gardasil shot so that she doesn't give you penile cancer,

2) you use birth control so that you don't have to support a child for 18 years.

Q: Can I press charges on someone who provided my minor with alcohol at their private residence?

My son was at his fathers house and after I had already told him he could not go anywhere his dad chose to allow him to go to this woman’s home where she provided a house full of minors alcohol and left them unattended for periods of time

No, you are still considered a minor by law. You can jump out into the world and all of its accompanying responsibilities as an adult once you are 18. You can move out without parental consent in 3 months. In the mean time, try to graduate from high school so you can get a job that pays more than minimum wage.

Your Grandmother can hire a lawyer and file for custody. If you run away, you can be picked up and put in Florida Parishes.

The Sheriff will not make a 17 year old go home.
