Q: Domestic violence charge

A friend of mine got charged with domestic violence from his soon-to-be ex-wife, but did not actually do any harm to her. She actually hurt him.is it possible or does he have a chance to have the charges dismissed or dropped during court?

More info is needed to properly evaluate your case. When you say does he have a chance? of course he does but no one can tell without knowing all the facts. You don't need an injury for a DV. Q: If a CPO was placed, but I was able to get my case dismissed would I be able to get that order lifted? DV case

The court stated that I would need to have the victim there, but If i do not talk to this person anymore, why should I?
