Probably because the USAF and the FAA are legally not the same employer; neither is any other federal agency the same as the FAA or the USAF. FYI: Every federal agency employer is different from all others; and the military civilian corps is completely different than that of any federal agency.

If and when the contract is ever raised in litigation (or arbitration), be sure to make your attorney aware of it. I don't know what the contract says, but "employment at will" is the law just about everywhere in the U.S. anyway.

The fact that your employer must use most of the PPP funds they borrowed only for employee wages, salaries and certain employment benefits has nothing to do with the amount of money any employees are paid. No, you can't get your mother to pay any of it to you. She has no duty to pay for prescriptions for her adult children.

Q: Are the terms of a severance agreement enforceable if an employer files bankruptcy? That is, do I still have to abide by

the terms outlined in the agreement if they are unable to pay the severance agreed to in the contract? The provisions in place make it so if I violate the agreement , they can pursue recoup, but it seems to me the agreement has been voided due to the filing.

You are correct: the former employer breached the contract so cannot enforce it against you.

Q: Can I be legally fired for refusing a " mandatory " covid19 test at work? I am a high risk, due to having asthma.

Q: No, there wasnt an agreement to pay money back or stipulations. I worked a month before I ended employment.

Please keep in mind there wasnt a contract signed. I paid to move to another city where my job was located. I asked The Regional Director about stipulations on the money and was told no. The problem started when my employment ended. I am I right not to return money

I believe I answered another question you asked here. The answer to this one is no, assuming the trier of fact were to believe your testimony, you are not legally obligated to return the money.

Q: Hello, I wanted to know if a verbal agreement will stand up in court? No contract was signed for relocation fees.

I paid my own moving fees and worked for over a month. It became an issue when I discontinued employment. My question is this legal and does my employer have grounds to ask for the money received to be returned. Can they sue ir take actions?

Yes, a verbal agreement could, if the judge or jury believes the evidence that would prove that agreement, "stand up in court" and be enforced. Did you agree to pay back the relocation fees if you were to quit before a set amount of time had elapsed?
