First if you are disabled from working it's serious, you should have at least a free consult with a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. You can definitely claim wage loss. You should see if your state has a department of vocational rehab that can help you with job searches etc.... View More

Possibly if the township was on notice. You need to see if Ga.Trial Lawyers has a log of reports of potholes (NY Trial Lawyers did at one time). Get estimates. File a claim with the township/municipality or state depending on whose repsonsibility the road is. Take photos if you can safely--ideally... View More

While in attendance of a Graduation ceremony on 27 May, where parking was directed, I drove into an unmarked, mostly covered, and therefore non visible sinkhole (for lack of a better word). At the bottom of said hole was a cement rain drainage culvert. I damaged the front bumper area of my SUV to... View More

No. I suggest you consider running it through your collision and letting your insurance hassle it out with the colleges insurance. On the loss of value those claims generally aren't recognized. If you have a policy that covers that then again, use your policy, let them go after the school.

Not clear what type of claim you have. If it's workers compensation return to the attorney. If it's automobile, it depends how your state handles first party benefits--your attorney should tell you for free.

A court would say a deal is a deal--they acted relying on your "yes" in paying your lender. They can come after you for the money if you don't want to sign it. Focus on the case against the drunk--I assume you have an attorney; discuss it with them.If you don't, contact a... View More

In most states ,there is no requirement that an injury victim go to the hospital in order to have a case or claim to pursue. Do not delay. Contact a local personal injury attorney for advice and potential representation as soon as possible. Good luck.
My gf got in a wreck while driving on suspended license. They wrote her a ticket for not having a license on her because she was injured at the time and had to go to the ER. The officer originally wrote the ticket for driving on suspended license, but changed it due to her being injured. She has... View More

By "report," I am assuming that you mean the accident report prepared by the investigating officer. If my assumption is correct, then what the officer wrote on the accident report is irrelevant. What matters is what the officer charged your girlfriend with and what she paid the ticket... View More

There is no way to answer your specific question with any degree of certainty because we do not have enough information. If there were no other witnesses besides you and the other driver, and assuming you have not incriminated yourself, the prosecutor will not be able to prove your guilt beyond a... View More

The first issue is whether you are dealing with an uninsured motorist. Immediately notify the insurance company that insures the vehicle you were driving and all insurance companies that insure vehicles owned by your relatives that resided in your household on the day of the wreck. Those policies... View More

In most states, whether someone is civilly at fault for an accident should not be related to whether the other driver's license was suspended. A local lawyer can confirm.

Perhaps, but you need to see an attorney for a full discussion.
No citation was given at the location at the time of the accident. The officer was waiting for us back at the police station where we had to go pick up a tow release form. At no time did he state that a citation was being written until he had already printed it. The ticket was for failure to... View More

The person who ran in to me had $25k liability limits which they have offered to pay. It comes no where near covering my losses and my uninsured coverage wants to pay my $25K limits. Can I accept the $25k from my uninsured coverage and still go after the person who hit me personally?

If I am understanding you correctly, the other party's carrier is offering to pay the liability limit of $25 K and, in addition, your carrier will also pay $25 K. Yes, you can sue the other party for your damages in excess of $50 K. Also, your carrier will be subrogated for the $25 K it... View More
