I hired a pest control company to do pest control in my house. One week later my dog died. I took him to the vet before dying. He said because of rat poison. I asked the guy from pest control and he said he put bait rat poison. He said that it was pet friendly. It wasn’t. Can I sue him? How do I... View More

Yes, but you’ll most certainly need a lawyer to handle it for you. You’ll also need to make sure your vet will testify for you as to the rat poison.

Go to the facility and see the trainer in person. If the faculty is closed on gone, hen move on to the police and file a complaint for theft.
I made the mistake of taking the dog. I was given false information. I was under the impression once she sobered up I would return the dog. I found the dog running loose on Wednesday, March 23. Prior to leaving with the fog I did knock on her door and explained her dog wouldn’t get out of my car.... View More

Take the dog to animal services tomorrow and turn her in. You are not going to jail nor have you done anything wrong.

My landlord messaged me stating that I am responsible for the other tenants dog because I’m the only other tenant that has a dog, that I am responsible to reach out to this tenant and set up a time for us to clean up the entire yard. However, I always clean up after my emotional support dog and I... View More
They do nothing with her. I have to feed and water even though I told them I didn't want a dog. I have been making sure it eats and cleaning it's kennel every week or two because I feel bad for it. My neighbors all think it's Mt dog because I was the only one walking it. But I... View More

No, but if you don’t want to take care of it, surrender it to a shelter where the dog can get a good home.
Do I have to let them in my house? Will they come with a warrant or will they need some proof of hoarding to get a warrant? My cats are well taken care of, my house is clean. I don't have any signs of cat hoarding but my ex roommate has a grudge against me and has brought up reporting me

You don’t have to let them in without a warrant and I would not talk to them at all nor would I let them in without a warrant.
I was asked to watch a dog for someone when they got arrested. With the understanding they would assist with care (food, expenses, ect) They have since been evicted from their home and are still in jail. There has been no contact with anyone about the dog for almost 2 months. How long does it have... View More

You can’t claim abandonment if you agreed to keep him while the owner was in jail if he is still in jail. However, if you have all the receipts for his food, boarding, care, etc., you can keep him until you are repaid, which will likely never happen. Hence, you still wind up with the dog.
i didn't know abt this until he admitted to it when i went to his house. my dog does nothing to him. he stays inside and doesn't bother him. this person lives next door. i'm absolutely broken over this. and i just want to know what i can do about it.

You are correct. You may NOT ask for if or evidence of a service dog.

1). Take a criminal complaint for the nuisance barking. 2) contact animal
Control and ask them to investigate. 3). Contact inspections, permits and licensing and see if the neighbor has a kennel license to operate such facility.

Who’s responsible. Dog has been at the vet for 1 week and will more than likely have to have his leg amputated tomorrow.
