Q: CPS took my kids 3 years ago and my mom received custody of them. Can I receive food stamps and Medicaid for them?

I lived with them the entire time and took care of them and still live with them. My mom passed away recently.

You need to file a motion for return of the children first. Until you do, you will not be eligible to draw for them.

Q: Can a petitioner continue to call, communicate and even ask a respondent to see them?

The person I know has a DVO against them by a family member yet that person continues to call them and expects them to see them; yet the respondent could face criminal charges because of the family members accusations. Should the respondent report all the contact?

Q: I am in KY and I just received a call saying, I am being taken to court for a bank that I opened back in 2009.

the account was supposedly sent to collections in 2015 but I do not recall ever seeing this on my credit report. its now 2021 can they win a judgement? Is there not any statue of limitations for this? and why was it never on my credit report?

Q: My partners landlord added my name to his lease without my permission or app. And added me to an eviction.

She lied in court saying that we added my name to the lease. When we obtained the copy with my name on there from the leasing office. We were advised by county clerk and prosecutor to pursue legal action. Do I have a case? I don't know who to talk to.

Whether the officer is using unnecessary force is a question for the jury. Regardless, the officer does not have to allow you to speak to the chief. You may have to do that when you are not detained.
