Q: How does one get reimbursed for an unjust towing of ones vehicle?

You'll need to follow the procedure for making a claim against the political entity that towed you--town, borough, county etc.

Start by making a claim.towing and storage tend to be (legal) scams.

Q: Do I have the right to file a civil claim against a repair shop?

I spent over $2000 to have my car fixed and they not only made it worse they didn't fix it properly. I put a dispute in with my bank car but they denied it after two and a half months. Can I still take them to civil court?

This isn't so much a legal question as a question for the loan provider. They may be willing to swap cosigners, if her husband will sign. They certainly don't have to do so.

Q: A maintenance man started a fire in our apartment accidentally, should our renter's insurance have to pay for damages?

He was taking out the old countertop and turned a burner on on the stove. His plastic tool box caught on fire. Our furniture is damaged.

It depends upon the terms of your policy, but I would be asking the landlord's insurance to pay up before my own.

Q: Stolen property?

I had a computer picked up for repair and have been calling the business for the past month and half with no response back from them, I need my computer back and don't know what to do. Should I contact a the police?

You could sue them. They may be difficult to find.

Q: Is it ok to take signatures from old work orders and paste them into current ones in order to bill a customer?

There are people at my work that have been instructed to do this so that customers can be billed. The customer requires a signed work order and there is no signature. A signature will be taken off an old work order and pasted onto one that has no signature.

They might sue you to try to cover the repairs, but most likely they will just bloody up your credit.

If they replace the engine, you are in the position you would have been but for their negligent failure to properly put in the oil plug. So I don't see anything wrong with such a settlement.

It was probably repossessed then. Call the tow truck company and find out why they towed it. Probably not, without be liable to him for a breach of the warranty. Your proper recourse would be to hire an attorney to sue him for slander. The warranty and the slander probably have no connection whatsoever.
