Hard to say--need to see what their diagnostic was/what the codes were, what the new one was.

If you pulled to side and had hazards on, other driver at fault for that. Why not contact a member of the Ohio Assn for Justice--they give free consults.

Probably not, but anything can happen depending on all the facts and circumstances that a court would consider, and the court would have the authority to order you to return it. Does his family even know that he gave it to you? If so, he can claim that he made a gift of his money to you. If you... View More

Your recourse depends on a few different issues. First, when it was installed, did the installer provide you a warranty? 2nd, what is the reason it is cracked and leaking? 3rd, does the product itself about warranty?

If the cracks or because of misuse by the consumer, you may not have any...

You need to check with the city in which you reside. Some cities have bans on owning pitbulls, others require the owner of a pitbull to secure insurance or take steps to keep the animal contained, others still have no rules at all.

Maybe. If the dealer required you to sign a spot loan agreement they may be able to do that. Such an agreement in essence states that you can have the car but your loan is under consideration and not yet approved. If you did not have such an agreement, or if you have documentation that the loan... View More

Do what your father tells you to do. You're 17, not yet legally an adult. Your father is an adult, and legally responsible for you. Do what you are told, like it or not. He can take away your driving privileges regardless of who owns it or pays the insurance.
