Q: My husband's kids were taken by state does he still pay child support to his ex wife since she lost her rights

He still has right goes to court soon about placement but they are with the state as of right now who does he pay his child support to?

Q: My ex has been claiming my son on taxes but he is no longer paying child support and he is 19. Can I claim him now?

My divorce papers do not specify a time limit on claiming the children and he lives with me.

Rely on the advice of your attorney. You will have to wait until the scheduled court hearing. However you should contact you husband by phone, and email every few days requesting to see the kids for a "visit", lunch, dinner, movie, or other age appropriate activity.

If there is a court order in force to pay child support, and he is in the military, it's very easy to collect. But it's very obvious that you need an experienced family law attorney to help you. Hire one immediately! He is continuing to abuse you through this process.

Q: Is it possible to find a family lawyer who will allow us to pay it out? Or do we have to have the money up front?

The property will be awarded to both of you. You might try to get the house sold in the probate court. Generally the house would be considered the separate property of each of you in the divorce. The law provides credit for other in home children in some circumstances. Without looking at your case, there would be no way to know if this was properly applied in your case. If you did not have an attorney, you should have an attorney review your case in detail asap!!

Q: My mom and step-dad got divorced I think two years ago. I have three younger siblings, two of them are 18 and one is 16.

You can file without paying court costs by going the the judge with a request to file without costs by filing a "Paupers Affidavit". Most judges will help you prepare the form. Good Luck.
