Hello, I am reaching out to consult about a clinical trial my mother was enrolled in. To abbreviate it, she has been enrolled into the clinical trial program back in August of 2024 and until a week ago, she was going through their screening process to determine the study eligibility. Due to the... View More

It sounds like your mother’s disqualification from the clinical trial was unfair, especially since the delays were caused by the facility’s scheduling issues and holidays, not by her actions. If there was no written timeline provided for completing the screening process, then the decision to... View More
Where. Did the grant money go that I was told originally "was put into an account on my name and if I ever needed any of it just call and tell them and they'd cover mortgage as needed with funds in my name but they keep all interest"?!

When dealing with something as significant as a HAF grant, sending important documents through verifiable mail is crucial. This ensures there’s a reliable record of delivery, giving you peace of mind and providing proof if disputes arise. If papers were not sent securely, it’s worth reaching... View More

An Oregon attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for over a week. This looks like something more complex than can be sorted out with brief general responses on a public forum. This is most likely a valid malpractice case, showing both liability and damages/harm. Medical malpractice means that a doctor violated the standard of care. A bad outcome is not enough. Another doctor would be needed to evaluate what the doctors did.

An Oregon attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for a week. They are not usually filed in small claims. Instead, they are generally filed in courts of unlimited monetary value. Good luck
The first he went too small, way smaller than we agreed upon & I told him it wasn’t worth it to me to go up only 1 cup size, yet he said I’d be a lot bigger, welp that was a lie.

The first step would be see to see another plastic surgeon to determine what can be done to fix the issues.
Then consult with an experienced medical malpractice attorney.

You should get a lawsuit on file if you can by your state’s laws (some states’s require a certificate of merit from a doctor). If it is impossible, you may have a legal malpractice lawsuit against that attorney. Consult with experienced legal malpractice attorneys in the state where this occurred.

If a surgeon performed an operation on you without your consent, you would have a claim for battery.
I warn you, however, that most surgeons as a matter of policy secure written consent from their patients. It will be very important to your case to have a competent lawyer review any... View More

A huge part of any case you may have will be whether a surgeon was available to treat you earlier.
It sounds to me like they correctly diagnosed you and took the correct medical steps, but that it’s a timing issue.
