He rear ended another vehicle causing damage. Yes I understand that I am responsible cause vehicle was in my name. But it has caused me to have my license to be revoked because he did not uphold his agreement to pay for damages.
When I told the judge I wanted to fight the failure to yield left he gave me the option of going to traffic school since it was my first accident. The other cars insurance is now asking me to pay 5,000 dollars in damage. My car had more damage and my quote was way less then $5000. My insurance is... View More

Going to driving school may impact your ticket. But it doesn't impact who is at fault in the accident- unless you were found guilty. Then it might be admissible as to fault. I am assuming you pled not guilty and received diversion if you attended driving school.

At the time case was heard I was not allowed to present any evidence. Other drivers vehicle has several dangerous recalls and driver exaggerated damages on vehicle. After striking my car He continued to drive several yards before stopping and my instinct was to follow after him so both vehicles had... View More

Sorry, but probably not. In order to have a case "re-opened" ( not a legal term) on the basis of "newly discovered evidence" you have to show that the evidenced was not available at the time of the first hearing. From what you described, that does not appear to be possible.... View More
I am the victim of a rear-end car accident. The person who rear-ended my vehicle along with his insurance company will not take responsibility for the damages. I was not injured.

You have ID of the person presumably from the crash--his insurance responded? Were no police called? Did he not give you his license? I'm asking because the way to get the information is to get a subpoena issued to their insurance. But to do that you have to file suit, and it gets messy.... View More
How can I locate the owner and ask for repair or insurance deductible.
answered on Jan 30, 2018
Here is a suggestion. Contact your insurance company. If you hve coverage for your vehicle they will pay the claim and then try to find the other vehicle for you. Also, if you have unisured motorist coverage you can make a claim that the vehicle made contact with yours and fled the scene. You... View More

Your question is hard to follow, but if you were not insured, and your vehicle was involved in a wreck, Yes, you can be held liable for the damages as the owner of the vehicle. Your license can be revoked for failure to comply with the financial responsibility law ( insurance) if you do not pay for... View More
I was driving a rental and from what it looks like it’s gonna be totaled and I’m still hurting what can I do to go after that guy the officer told me when she saw me at the hospital she gonna lock him up! I need to go back to the doctor

Several issues here. 1) you have a personal injury claim you can pursue against the other driver. For your medical bills if you have health insurance this should cover your bills until you can resolve your claim with the other driver or the insurer for the other driver. You may also have... The accident happened 2 1/2 weeks before her birthday. She was waiting to turn left in the center lane into a store. Traffic the opposite direction was either at a red light or one that had just turned green. A woman had stopped to wave her through. Apparently neither saw the car in the other lane.... View More

If she was waived through she can claim she was yielding but other driver indicated by the wave that no traffic to yield to, plead not guilty.
Can she go to traffic school? Usually can for first time.
Before arguing she needs to drive to get to school, look at alternates.
The other driver, northbound exit ramp, failed to yield at off ramp merging with southbound off ramp (I was southbound). The police officer believes that the accident took place past the location than it did (we moved our vehicles to a safe location, forward). The report has no diagram. Location:... View More

I understand you had a wreck. I am sorry. As to "they" ruled you at fault. I am assuming you mean the investigating officer. You are not "at fault" simiply because the officer made a determination. This is not a ruling. But if the accident was your fault, then you could be... View More

The owner has a penalty for no insurance. They will also try to hang the damages from the crash on you, though you shhould try to get him in on that.
Son had a wreck and there was damage to a house. The police put him in handcuffs and questioned him before a parent was contacted and present. Is this legal?

Tennessee law does not require parents be present during police questioning.

Your company may offer them the 25k and ask for a full release. That means a paper that says "in exchange for this money we won't bother this person any more." That's what you pay insurance for.

The principal one that I can think of is leaving the scene of an accident. (if no personal injury- the statute to look at is 55-10-102.) I hope this is helpful.

I'm not sure what you say the husband is doing. A lot depends on who hit whom where. However in general she has the right of way, you don't. If she hit a wall that may be a claim, too. If your insurance was in force at the time let them handle it. If not, be aware she can ask to have your... View More
