You should have a claim against the driver that hit your vehicle.
I was driving on the interstate when another car swerved at me from the HOV lane. My steering column locked up as I swerved out of their way onto the shoulder, so as a result my car spun off the interstate into a ditch. I didn't hit the other car, nor anyone else. The other driver fled the... View More

Possibly. You may want to have an attorney or at least consult one so your rates don't go up. If you were hurt you may have an uninsured motorist claim and would be well advised to consult a member of the Tenn Assn for Justice--they give free consults.

TCA 55-8-160 prohibits blocking of a driveway. There is likely a local ordinance also that prohibits blocking a drive. You can look up the code section on line and city ordinances are generally on line as well.

I had 3 deer jump out in front of me the other day. I missed the deer luckily but I take my passenger side mirror off and deep scrape marks down my doors. I'm a CDL driver so I don't want to use insurance if it's gonna be an at fault collision. No damage to sign.

This should not be considered an "at fault" accident. But insurance carriers for CDL licensed drivers don't always react / respond the way car insurers do. So- Contact your agent-- be sure to ask your agent if this will impact your rates or if the company is the type of company... View More

There is no requirement the other party or his/ her insurer furnish you with a rental. However, in an effort to cooperate and to help control the amount of the loss oftentimes an opposing insurer will pay for a rental. If they do not furnish a rental your coverage provide for a rental car.

The limits are the higher of the minimum limits for Tennessee or the policy limits. The limits cannot be lower than the Tennessee minimum. I hope this answers your question.

look for a class action but generally the problem you have is if you bought your truck as is, that means warts and all.
Unlicensed, uninsured driver was struck by another vehicle at a 4 way stop. Minor accident, no injuries, one vehicle is heavily damaged & the other is not.

I have not researched this- and you should talk to a divorce attorney to get advice. But, if you know who the lawyer(s) is for the other party - I would suggest having a letter sent to the lawyer making them aware of a claim of a child support lien providing the amount owed. There is a presumption in Tennessee that if someone is driving your car they have permission. You can rebut that presumption by proof the person did not have permission. Make sure to notify your insurer. Tell them all of the facts.
