When I was under my car, one of scissors jack suddenly broke down and my car came down on my arm. I got injured I can barely move my arm. Do you think I can sue this scissors jack company? If so, do I need a police report and receipt when I purchased?

The first question any personal urinary attorney will ask is-do you have the scissor jack. The reasoning is to determine if there is a product defect. This can only be determined if an appropriate engineer can examine it and determine why it failed. The 1st thing the product manufacture is going to... Read more »

I would speak with a lawyer, who can contact the court clerk and prosecutor, and resolve your case and move it ahead on the docket with a guilty plea by affidavit, where there is no live court appearance.
My car was parked in the employee lot at the school where I work. One can easily be liable without calling the police. I'm not sure from the description if you were innocent or at fault, but it is best to report this accident to your insurgence company.

Advise the Court that you plead "Not Guilty" and bring your girlfriend to the assigned Court date. You will have an opportunity to speak with the Municipal Prosecutor and tell him/her what your defense is. Ask that the ticket be dropped.
Mother-in-law is paying higher premium with car insurance because car insurance is claiming that she is responsible for her deceased husband’s car accidents. How is this fair? She was not the driver responsible causing these accidents.

Sounds unfair. I would begin with contacting your insurance agent, who can contact underwriting for an explanation. If you are not satisfied, contact NJ Department of Banking & Insurances and file a Complaint against the insurance company. She might also benefit from getting quotes from other... Read more »

It's hard to say from what you described as to whether you have a solid WC case. The best thing to do is to report your experience to Costco and ask to be seen by a company authorized doctor. You have to get treatment through Costco, although there are exceptions. A lot depends upon the job... Read more »
