Q: I recieved a ticket for improper display of license plate but corrected the problem while the officer was there.

Do I still have to pay the fine? This happened in Denham Springs Louisiana.

You need to discuss this with an attorney. Each party pays their own court costs, unless the court assesses them to one party. Then if the penalized party doesn't pay, that party can be held in contempt.

On 13 May you can stop paying.

But if it is through wage assignment, your attorney will need to file a Motion.

They can be consolidated with or without service down into the lower case number for judicial efficiency.

You can enter a Cinsent Judgment splitting custody with him. Hire a custody lawyer or mediator.

If the home is in both names, you can change the locks and spouse can get back in.

Q: Is home school considered "in school" in 12th grade in Louisiana or does child support stop?

My daughter is completing high school online/home school and she just turned 18. My ex husband has filed to stop paying child support for her.

Send him a letter by certified mail that you will charge him with discharge of a weapon within city limits, cruelty to animals and sue him for conversion. Then buy a big fence & get your dog chipped.

If you knew all along that the child was not yours, you have one year to Disavow. Except, if there is a biological father ready to step up, then the Filiation and Disavowal can be done at the same time after one year.

If you were mislead that the child was yours, you can still Disavow.

You have until 365 days after date of discovery but no more than 3 years after the malpractice occurred. So get to a medical malpractice lawyer quickly.
