Q: I am getting divorced and have just receive a settlement for workman's comp is my husband entitled to any of this

Married only five and a half years no kids together I received $282 weekly for 9 months and then settled for $22,000 can he get any of this in the divorce

Talk to the attorney you retained to represent you in your divorce. Depending on the nature of the settlement, and the other assets, if any, there may be a way to come to a satisfactory arrangement to help you get on the road to becoming "happily unmarried."

Q: Am I held liable for all the rent if my roommate moves out and breaks lease

My roommate is suddenly moving out and breaking "her part" of the lease. Am I held liable for all the rent now or legally is she responsible for it?

You may be. Talk to your landlord and see if they are OK with you getting a new roommate.

The property was taken by eminent domain by Providence Rhode Island in 1915 from various families and used for reservoir purposes. Some of the land has been deemed nonessential. Can that land be handed over to the town and sold off for developments?

Q: In Ri is it illegal to ride with one headlight out but have both fog lights on meaning I have three lights on

I was pulled over in East Providence because apparently I had one head light out but I had both of my dog lights on so I had three working lights was that a reason to pull me over and give me a ticket or can I legally ride around like that?

Q: My fiancé ex girlfriend stoped allowing him to see his 4 yr son, once we got engaged! Can she do this?

He paid child support each month and there is no court order. She has sent him nasty txt msg about me to him and said it’s personal that’s why she is not letting him see his son. He has little money to pay a lawyer we need help. This poor little boy needs a relationship w his dad!!!

He should meet with an attorney. It's not your child. You should not be involved.

He is doing 20 with 10 tp serve for soliciting a minor. She will be 19 when he gets out. He is behind over 1500 already. Hasnt seen or spoken to her in 2 years.

From your description of the situation, It's not likely he will have an resources from whence to pay his support obligation in the near future. If you know otherwise, hire an attorney to help you present that evidence to the court in rebuttal of his pleadings.
