Q: A friend's 17 yr old daughter is being harrassed and threatened by a 28 yr old female through txt and her work.

The 28 yr old is using someone else's phone to txt but she did show up at the juveniles work to verbally threaten her. The parent has tried to talk with the 28 yr old resolve the issue but the 28 yr old is continuing the harrasment. What options does the juvenile and parent have.

Q: I am 16 years old. Can I leave my parents house and stay the night somewhere else without their permission?

My parents will not let me stay the night somewhere and I left anyways and am staying at a friend's house. Can I get in trouble if they call the police?

Yes. You could get in trouble and wind up in juvenile detention if they call the cops.

Q: Does the Romeo and Juliet law apply to polyamorous relationship and Does the law apply to non sexual relationships?

What if I am in a polyamorous relationship, I'm 17 and one of my boyfriends turning 18 and my other boyfriend is 15 years old, my boyfriend who is 18 tells me that I have to break up with my 15 year old boyfriend because of the law.

We were not married. So how can I purchase the house. We live in ky.

You’ll need to open probate, get yourself appointed as administratrix and then you will have authority to buy, sell, make transfers, etc.

Q: My 15 year old granddaughter is verbally and physically abusive. I don't know what to do.

Yesterday she punched me several times while I was driving. She has some mental health issues (ODD, ADHD, major depressive disorder). She already sees counselors and a psych. What can/should I do about this?

No. You should ask the court to appoint you you own attorney to consult and speak on your behalf. He can let the court know your position.

Probably misdemeanor assault.. not necessarily jail time unless injuries were serious.

Under criminal law in Kentucky, anyone under 18 is considered a juvenile. It is illegal for any person, juvenile or adult, to injure another person by force unless they are using self-defense.
