Q: ARSON: New home being built, no insurance coverage when someone burned it down. Total loss. ????

If you had a contractor their insurance might cover. Talk to your CPA about a big casualty loss deduction on your tax return--may have to file an amended (for 2015) if you didn't claim it

Q: Auto insurer told me I was covered. Crashed. Told I wasn't covered retroactively. Any legal precedent I can cite?

I called my insurer and a representative assured me I was covered internationally. Swerved to avoid a car in my lane and collided with a hedgerow. Filed a claim with my insurer who informed me I was not actually covered. If I had known this I would have taken out additional insurance on the rental.... View More

Q: i was rear ended and have full coverage insurance ,insurance co doesnt want to pay cost of fixing auto.

my deductible is 1000.00 i reported the accident and another dent on the same day to my ins carrier,they wrote it up as 2 claims. i didnt know it would be 2 claims,now they wont pay because each claims are under my deductible of 1000.00. they did not explain that to me,that it would be 2 different...
