Excuse for what?

LEO's estimate by "pacing" all the time. You can question him in Court, but it is best to try to get some kind of diversion, leading to dismissal.
I was stopped by a police officer told me to give him my ID then I replied, asked the police officer what was the reason for my stop but he insisting that I give him my ID, but I asked him again what was the reason why I was stopped. I reply that I’m not refusing to give him my ID but wanna know... View More

You could move to suppress the evidence but it does not seem to justify the expense and trouble. Might be better to hire an attorney just to work it out at Court.
I missed my court date by oversleeping and now I’m scared. My husband has to pay $650 for restitution and the problem is over but we missed showing up and I don’t know what to do. My husband will be paid tomorrow morning and we plan to pay the restitution but I don’t want to go to jail or do... View More

You need to hire an attorney to talk with the State about lifting the fta warrant.
I plead guilty because at the time they didn’t offer traffic school, and it’s been 3 years later and it still shows on my record. I’m an electrician and didn’t know when they would fall off my license that way I can drive a company vehicle.

It should not be on your MVR for the DOS which is for the last 12 months. But it is still a conviction which will be on your NCIC check forever.
I wasn’t asked for my registration or insurance and I just moved from Illinois and I have to appear in court, feb 3rd what should I do, and can I get the ticket dismissed if I didn’t get asked for insurance or registration?

No, but go to Court with cash. There may be some Diversion available from the Judge, or even a reduced speed violation, as that 23 over will add points at least to a TNDL.
Is it better to just pay them online? I had points on my record prior to this so it will probably end up getting suspended anyway. So don’t know if I should even go to court or just pay online
answered on Jan 13, 2023
Absolutely hire an attorney to represent you on both Citations. Once the TNDL is Suspended, you will be going to jail all the time. Do not pay by mail as it will be an irreversible mistake.

Generally places that are open to the public fit in this category. Shopping centers, apartment complexes, office parking lots that also allow access to the public. Places that would not fit might be a fenced area with a gate that required a pass card or check in with a guard. The answer to your... View More
He was driving behind me for a little until he pulled the person beside me over. So is there a chance he could’ve got my license plate? So should I expect something in the mail
answered on Jan 9, 2023
It is possible that the LEO will show up at your address on your DL to serve the Citation, but it appears unlikely.
The first one was 80 in a 40 but I had a prior one from going 82 in an 45 and they are both for the same date. Should I pay them online or go to court? I was stupid and it’s my fault but I don’t know what will be better or how to deal with that
answered on Jan 9, 2023
Do not pay by mail which is pleading guilty. You will loose your TNDL for points. Hire a competent attorney to represent you now to possibly work it out on at least one of the Citations. You may need a DOS Hearing. Do not get in any more trouble.
How can I receive a verbal warning for driving on revoked and allowed to leave with my friend driving and find out 11 days after this traffic stop I have charges for driving on revoked and possession of paraphernalia a whole different charge that I have no clue about on me from that same traffic... If your record shows that you are being charged with a crime, you want to take it serious and hire a criminal defense attorney to act on your behalf to ensure that your rights are preserved.
It was in a construction zone with no workers present. I don't travel that road often, and while I wasn't aware that I was going over 55-60 (I was in a pack of cars and I was the one he got), I cruised through a construction zone at 75.

The Court Clerk should be able to determine the Fine, so call again. However you will probably be better off going to Court. It might get reduced or Diverted. The worse that can happen is a conviction, which is what payment by mail is.

Cannot quite understand the issue, but it sounds like you need to go to Court with your Registration. General Sessions can amend the pleadings quickly and orally, so mistakes on the Citation does not mean you win. Politely inform the DA or Judge that you are the registered owner.
It was a left turn and I went under the yellow light. Well I only made the half turn. And I went under the red light camera on the wrong side median. Lucky no cars were there. I stopped and put my blinker on and pulled into a nearby Restaurant. I couldn't turn around cause traffic was coming... View More

It is a civil offense not criminal. It cannot add points to your MVR or suspend a TNDL, but you can be sued for the money. Disputing it is not worth the trouble, so either pay it or forget about it.
It is now 2022 and when I call to obtain information about this case they tell me I have to come in for court to resolve. What is the likely hood of me going to jail or paying a fine? I need my license but I live in TN and have to go to Kentucky courts.
answered on Dec 5, 2022
Hire an attorney to take you to Court off the Docket. Take money to pay off the costs. Get a paid in full Receipt for the Dept of Safety. This is how to handle it in TN. If KY Court, then ask your attorney.
Going 108 in a 55 but on my citation it ONLY says speeding. It doesn't say anything about reckless driving. Got it under statute 55-8-152 in TN code. Could I get community service? What're all the possibilities of punishment?

What are you complaining about? Depending on the Citation, either pay it (which is a Conviction with MVR points) or go to Court. You might get the speed reduced or some type of Diversion. Have money there to pay it. Be respectful.

Complain to your State Representative. The State has already outlawed the ticket cameras constituting a criminal charge as no personal service or arrest. Such tickets cannot add points to your MVR. But you can be sued for a civil debt.
I paid a child restraint ticket this morning and was charged $175.00 1st offense. I looked up the cost for TCA 55-9-602 and it stated that the fine was $50.00. I went back in and ask the clerk why it was so high she really never came up with a understandable answer. I told her I wanted to keep my... View More

You have already pled guilty. Within ten days of your plea, you might move to set aside your plea. Hire an attorney if this goes further.
I realized the other day that my traffic ticket has the wrong license plate number on it. I had given an old registration and he acknowledged it but said that I had the new blue plate so obviously I had up-to-date plates. I believe the license on the ticket is my old one but I'm not 100% as... View More

General Sessions is not a Court of record, so amendments are made quickly. Explain Citation error to DA or Court politely. It might go well.

Probably need to read the Citation. But that usually means you were not driving with a DL on your person when stopped.
